Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomTake earplugs as the road can be a little noisy, but this will solve the problem easily. I slept very well in the comfy bed!
The host is fabulous, very friendly, and extremely helpful. Her breakfast offers lots of options, so you start the day well. The kitchen is also well stocked so you can also prepare your own meals from the supermarket two minutes down the road..The sun terrace is a great option if you want to relax. The place is very clean and our beds were made each day. All-in-all we were made to feel like family, not just guests, and for this I will happily return!

Austria- My bed was an individual size and it felt a little uncomfortable. Maybe the mattress needs to be replaced. - The wifi is not strong (works only around the kitchen) and didn’t reach all the way into my room. But it may be a good excuse to disconnect for a while or before bed. ;)
Susana is a great host. Talking to her felt like talking to a friend. She welcomed me with an “aperitivo “ 😁 The location is right on a quiet street in the middle of Padova. Breakfast was basic, but good, probably similar like other similar stays. They have a little terrace outside behind the kitchen, it’s a great place to read, or to enjoy your coffee or drink. The feeling is like being inside an Italian house. 😃 Susana allows you to bring food and drinks from outside and store everything in their kitchen (and of course use the kitchen).

ItalyHonestly I have nothing negative to say, every aspect of my stay was just wonderful
Susi was incredibly welcoming and friendly and was more than willing to provide any assistance necessary. The room was spacious and comfortable and had a nice view above the cobblestone street below in a very clean, central part of town. Walking distance from places of interest such as the Basilica of Saint Anthony and the Botanical Gardens, but also from the Scrovegni Chapel and Eremitani museums in the other direction (and also from the train station which is just slightly further). Can't recommend higher! (And would definitely recommend eating a meal at Bruno's cafe right next to the B&B, great food and an even greater personality!)

AzerbaijanThe host Suzi is a great woman. She makes guests feel like in their homes. I felt the place was one family apartment where everyone was happy and peaceful. They are available all the time, helpful all the time, everything is clean, rooms are nice, the place is very close to the main tourist attractions. I was not expecting to enjoy of my this short visit so much. Padova is a beautiful city it is for sure, but Casa Battisti made it unforgettable for me.

SloveniaEverything was perfect!
I just loved staying in Casa Battisti. Everything was perfect. Hostess is most amazing lady I ever met. She is a sunsine in a human form. I came by motorcycle and she offered me to park my motor in the lobby to be safe. Also parking on the street is fine because Padova is safe city in general. Location of Casa is in directly in the city centre so sightseeng is in on walking distance. Room was perfectly clean and quiet. There is no noise from the street by night. Breakfast was delicious and I loved starting my italian morning on a terrace with cappuccino and cornetto. I recommend staying. It is 10/10.

United StatesIt is a family run business so staff is not available on site 24/7. You must coordinate with host ahead of time to ensure you can get into get in the building when you arrive. In my case, she was not at home, but had left the key with staff from the restaurant across the street. It was no trouble, but communication was key. Also keep in mind that it is near a busy street, so if you are sensitive to the noise of traffic, bring ear plugs to sleep.
Suzi is a charismatic and kind host, speaking excellent English (as opposed to my horrendous Italian). She made me feel welcome right away and was very accommodating, allowing for flexible check-in and even lending me a wall adapter. Breakfast was plentiful, a buffet of hard boiled eggs, chocolate croissants, yogurt, bread, cereals, and fruits. The room was much bigger than expected and included my own private bathroom. The location was centrally located, 25 minute walk (15 minute bus) from the train station and 10 minute walk from Basilica de San Antonio with lovely piazzas surrounding the church. Overall, it was an excellent value for the location and I would highly recommend this B&B for your travels in Padua!

United KingdomIt's a bit out of the way, but that also entails that it's quiet.
The host is friendly, helpful, and the breakfast is good. The location is nearer the Basilica and the Ermitage, although Padova is small enough that that isn't an issue. The rooms are good, and well provisioned.
