We absolutely loved our stay at Casa 3Bien! This charming apartment has a fantastic view over Sassi and is very well located in a quiet and calm street. The apartment is well decorated, clean and Mariangela was a super host. We’ll definitely come back.

Top locality, cosy accommodation, easy access, parking relatively close to casa. Mariangela is friendly, a really appreciate late check-in with warm hospitality. Perfect to enjoy Matera as a couple. The bed is perfect.

I have almost nothing to mark as negative. Some details not disturbing and not decrising the impression of Matera.

Perfect location. Stylish, yet simple deco. Staff extremely helpful! And what a view! There are no cooking facilities, but there are so many wonderful restaurants in Matera, which are worth exploring. The valet/ car park service is highly recommended.

Large & centrally located & great views throughout the apartment!

Only thing missing there is nothing to warm up food or left over food or even coffee. Would be nice if they had a microwave oven.

Very beautiful characterful holiday home. Ideal for two. Phantastic views of Sasso Barisano, the Duomo etc from all windows. Friendly host who met us in person. Check in and out very easy.

The communication with the property owner was exceptional. Upon our arrival by car, we were not sure where to park since each street had specific parking regulations. While still in the car searching for a spot, the owner promptly guided us to an area where we could either park on the street or in a paid parking lot. Fortunately, we found a free street parking space that allowed us to stay for the entire three-day duration of our visit. The apartment was very clean and cozy with unique layout and architectural details. Location was amazing! Close to everything: the main square, restaurants,etc. Not to mention, the views from the bedroom and bathroom windows perfectly captured the essence of Matera. :).

Superb property in Matera with traditional architecture of the Sassi district and completely modernized and very comfortable. Many windows with views of the old town. Mariangela is a kind and responsive host. Extras like wine, water, soft drinks, breakfast snacks and coffee pods! Super clean and comfortable!

The location was terrific with amazing views of the Sassi. The quality of the fixtures and fittings in the apartment were lovely. There has been a focus on attention to detail.

My partner does not have great knees and would have appreciated having a hand rail heading down the 6-7 stairs down to the bathroom. Saying this though, the bathroom was new and very well set out with a huge shower recess.

Everything: location, conditions, decoration. Excellent. Mariangela is a great owner, very helpful and warm person.

Beautiful flat in an excellent location. Just 5 minutes walk to restaurants, shops, and piazza in Sasso Barisano. About a 15 minute walk to Sasso Caveoso. The flat is spacious perfect for two people. Lots of sunshine and lovely views of Matera. Extremely clean. Modern bath with great shower. Overall we totally enjoyed our stay here.

Unfortunately the owner was not able to meet with us and only communicated via text. This resulted in some confusion (eg could not operate coffee maker or AC). Most importantly we were not able to get recommendations from a local! That said she was helpful in reserving parking and allowed a late check out which was much appreciated.

Lacking in kitchen facilities

Excellent facility- design, functionality, location and -not least- communication.

Smell of sewage-maybe the area where the house is located, as this is a very old city.

It’s an amazing house with the most stunning view and cosy furniture! Comfort and feeling like home at the same time! The bed is super comfy and the people who run the place the most warm and helpful you will meet in Puglia! You won’t find a better place in Matera!
