How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Ana was such a great host she was very friendly and helpful! We arrived earlier than we thought she had the room ready for us ! I will highly recommend this place walking distance to every site !

I couldn’t recommend these suites more. It was a self serve type of bnb, but the rooms were very modern, the bed and pillows were the comfiest I had in my whole 4 week Europe trip and the service was phenomenal. Air conditioning was perfect. The lovely lady that manages the property made note that it was my partners birthday and without request set up a beautiful birthday surprise in our room for him. It made his day and was such a thoughtful touch. Most main attracts are 10-20 minute walk Max so fantastically located. I could not recommend anymore and I would definitely return!

There are currently ongoing reconstructions works on the building’s facade from the municipality. However, this was announced by the property beforehand. It was not an inconvenience for us as we spent most of the day outside.
Excellent location and communication with the property. Ana was very accommodating and swift to reply to any queries. Even though we only stayed for 2 nights, housekeeping was still in place.

The communication from staff was brilliant. The location couldn’t have been any better. In walking distance to all attractions and lots of restaurants nearby. Once inside you couldn’t hear any noise from outside. The air conditioning was amazing and very welcome in July. I would definitely come here again

We couldn’t open the shutters or windows due to scaffolding outside so had no daylight in the room. However we were out most of the day every day so didn’t really matter for us. We had trouble getting access through the main door when we first arrived but that was a minor issue overall
Fantastic location, 2 minutes from The Pantheon and easy walking distance to Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona, Borghese Gallery etc felt right in the middle of activity yet the street of the accommodation was quiet. Room was clean and functional, very comfortable bed and great shower and excellent air con. Communication with our host, Ana, was terrific, any questions answered quickly on WhatsApp and she was very kind and helpful.

Central to everything. Short walk to coffee/Restaurants. Nice and quiet even in a busy area. Very good communication with Ana (staff) who were very helpful and friendly. Spacious room which was nice and cool with it being so hot outside.

It was unfortunate that there was building work going on while we stayed at the hotel (so we couldn’t see out of the windows or open them due to the scaffolding) but that was out of the hotel’s control and was indicated on the listing so I don’t fault them for that.
The hotel is very centrally located…just a few steps away from the Pantheon. The rooms were comfortable and clean. We stayed in a quadruple room that had two double beds in two rooms separated by a door. It was perfect for our family with two teenage daughters. Ana, the property manager was amazing. Super responsive and willing to help with any question or request. If you just wanted a well located, clean, comfortable room and don’t need all of the bells and whistles of a larger hotel (gym, restaurant, etc) this place perfect.

Just quite tricky to find initially. Might need a bigger sign or a clear door number. There was an alarm that rang continuously from 7am until we checked out. Not sure if it was related to the building work outside but it woke us up. The room was so nice though that I’d let it slide. Would love a late check out option!

If I had to nitpick, maybe bigger trash cans would be nice? They were fine though.
The location was walking distance from major landmarks, yet quiet and a little off the beaten path. The room was excellent, clean and cozy. Ana was a great host! She was super friendly and let us check in a bit early, we really appreciated that.
