We found a good bunch of hair in the shower, like accumulated from few days. But the main aspect is the fact that I have basically been obliged to book on booking.com as price via phone and on their own website were either higher or the same of Booking. I then went on booking.com, meaning the hotel paid a commission while nothing has changed for me.

Location is Is definitely a big plus. Our room was very big, comfortable and had lots of storage. Free onsite parking is also great and breakfast has been appreciated as well. Check in and check out have been smooth enough.

Classic hotel from a bygone age. The staff were wonderful and the facilities were superb. Happy to look after our bikes in a secure garage overnight. Waiting staff were so attentive. breakfast was perfect.

Only minor points to make it even better. We would have preferred a comfy sofa in the room rather than the large desk, just to make the bedroom absolutely top class. We would have liked to have dinner in the hotel but the menu was too fancy and too expensive for our liking.

Exceptionally helpful and friendly staff. Excellent large bedroom with balcony overlooking the lake and mountains. Very clean everywhere. Breakfast was good and had an excellent range of types of food.

From the balcony, you are blinded by a floodlight that's on at night. It doesn't shine into the room, only outside.

It was a rather pricey hotel, but even so a lot of things cost extra. Spa would have costed rather lot, even the coffee in the room was extra. The rooms were pretty small, but still comfortable.

Overall the Hotel was really nice. We had an amazing view over the lake. The breakfast was amazing, there were a lot of options and they even made you fresh pancakes, omlette or other. The Staff overall was really nice and the room was really clean.

Hotel was stunning and clean. It was in a great location, right in front of the lake and walkable distance to everything. Staff was absolutely amazing, helpful and kind. They also were absolutely kind to our dog. The breakfast was also amazing. Great quality and good variety.

Just a tiny bit of a smell in the room, I assume from the carpeted floors.

Fantastic location in Luino and exceptionally attentive and friendly staff! The breakfast buffet was great and the terrace on the third floor had a beautiful view. The gardens must be gorgeous in summer but it was still a bit chilly when we visited in April. We liked our standard room, especially the fully renovated and clean bathrooms. Could definitely recommend a stay here with the old-world Italian charm and free parking on property grounds!

The room was challengingly small but very well appointed.

Everything was absolutely wonderful. We especially liked the jacuzzi / sauna on the roof. The room was much smaller than expected but perfectly adequate. The staff were very attentive and personable. Breakfast was a treat.

Better to rent a car to get to Luino. Trains were a bit complicated and slow. Has nothing to do with the hotel though. Neutral statement that the beds were quite firm, which might just be a European thing.

A truly great hotel. Professional, friendly and helpful staff. Recently renovated, grand hotel. Amazing view , especially on the terrace. Wonderful continental breakfast, with custom order eggs and coffees.

No pool and no beach in front of the hotel. The breakfast was very poor. Didn’t suit the style of the hotel and the price value. In front at the lake is a bar. Very loud music in the evening. You can’t keep the windows open.

Very nice building. Our room was excellent. Good size, very big and comfortable bed. Nice views with a cozy balcony. It seems they have a good restaurant. I only saw the menu. Nice offer of dishes

We enjoyed the amazing food, the large room with a large, modern bathroom, and the steam function in the shower. The Porsche charging was a good thing to have. The staff were very helpful and the waiters provided a good service. We had a great stay.

Charming well situated hotel with seriously good restaurant and the best possible service. Magnificent building with a roof terrace with unique view over the lake and the mountains. Parking on Site with availability of Porsche fast chargers. Premium breakfast.

It was our second stay here, the first one was about five years ago before COVID-19. At that time breakfasts were much richer and more varied , I was impressed with it, but now its a small buffet and some options from the menu. Any way not too bad but ok

Everything was great with location, room and stuff! we booked a suite with a terrace and own jacuzzi and its really worth it! cozy villa with private parking!
