Very bad bed. The double bed was sunken in the middle and creaked a lot.

Many many flights of stairs from the car park to the room. 3 flights to reach reception which is in a bar. But I knew this from the description so I didn't mind. The bathroom door was very low and I am 6ft tall and very forgetful so I regularly banged my head 🤣

Very friendly. I couldn't speak Italian and the owner couldn't speak English but we managed. Nice safe area a short stroll to the main shopping/restaurant area of town.

Perfect location, incredibly quiet and quite cozy. Clean. Comfortable bed, but narrow. Friendly staff. Endless stairs, but authentic ancient building. Great view of the mountains. Good croissants, great breakfast and a fireplace! Everything was amazing.

It's got more of a dorm feeling than a proper hotel. You check in at the bar, where the locals like to have a wine or two starting from 10 am.

Location above the old town is convenient and offers great views. Breakfast was good. It was cold and they had the fire going next to my table so I could keep warm. Parking was convenient, not sure if there are still spots available when its busier.

4th floor with the bike without elevator but that's no big deal at all, and room a bit warm at the top of the building

Booked a one night room for a bike trip. I had a single room at the 4th floor under the roof (a bit warm). Room was quite clean, bed wasn't the best I ever had but was still comfy, bathroom in the room, towels, soap... Reception was kind and speaks a bit of English which is enough for the check in and out. Breakfast was complete, which is nice and Bormio is a awesome little city for an evening and for the bike riders, the hotel is right at the bottom of the Stelvio. So I would say, I had a great quick stay here, worth the money, and enough facilities for one night

We were on the third floor due to the age of the building there is no lift. We were in an attic room which was a bit limiting.

The accommodation was on the top floor after 5 flights of stair. If you have mobility issues this isn't for you but that is the only issue I had and not much the owner can to. If you don't it a brilliant place

Beautiful old building rich in history and well positioned in the old town. Lovely and rich breakfast and very kind host and owner. The single room was perfect with a cosy room and large bathroom.

Very close to all things in the historic district of Bormio. Free parking in the rear was super convenient. Staff was very nice and accommodating. There's no lift so be ready to take plenty of stairs, which I liked.

Very convenient location. All within walking distance. Cosy room with a well maintained old Italian vibe which we can't see it feels like a modern society hotel. The staff can't speak English but she still very friendly and took the effort to talk to you and offer drinks.

A lot of stairs. The place was a bit spooky at the night with dim lights in the hallways. Not for travellers seeking modern facilities.

Breakfast was superb and salty options were available too; a lit fireplace in the breakfast hall! Good location, 100m from the main street. The room was nice and cozy.

There is nothing negative I could mention. The rooms are basic (if you look for luxury you cannot expect to have this price level) but perfectly functioning in every feature. I saw some negative reviews concerning the stairs, and yes the stairs are there and not easy if somebody has some deambulation issues. However, this is clearly and transparently mentioned in the hotel description, so it shouldn’t impact the reviews at all because no surprise here if someone reads the description.

I stayed in this hotel 6 nights, so I believe my review should be pretty realistic about what this accommodation can offer. There are plenty of great things to say about this accommodation like the top location in Bormio centre, the parking availability still being in the centre, the amazing breakfast offer, the super value for money, but if I should pick the best I would say the staff and the atmosphere they create which made me feel like I was at home. If I should be back in Bormio, without any doubts I would be back here.
