Great location! It’s right between St Peter’s Square and Vatican Museum. It’s walking distance to many sights like Saint Angelo’s Castle. It’s beautiful property with great AC, elevator and security. Breakfast is wonderful. Marcus is so helpful he mad our time in Italy even better.

Everything about this place is amazing! The location is very close to the Vatican, and Marco's generosity, kindness, and patience are truly exceptional. The room is comfortable and spotlessly clean! Even the elevator is an experience in itself. Each morning, breakfast is placed in front of the door, with a selection of super yummy foods! It truly feels like home! And even the price, considering the season, the location, and all the amenities, is incredibly good. A real gem!

The location is perfect - just steps from Vatican City, great restaurants, shops, and a nearby bus stop. Don’t miss the tiramisu shop close by! Macro, the host, was incredibly welcoming. The breakfast is a highlight - beautifully presented on a cart with everything you could want. The historic elevator in the building is both charming and reliable.

One of the best value for money options available in rome very close to Vatican city. Safe neighborhood and multiple restaurants just down stairs. Not to forget the host Marco, he’s one of the best hosts I have ever met during a hotel stay. Friendly to the core and helpful in every possible way. Because of him we found beautiful hidden gems in other than the popular spots where there are so many tourists. Thanks again Marco for being a wonderful host and keeping your property nice, clean and tide. Excellent hospitality is guaranteed here.

You can not find a better location that is so close to the Vatican. Everything thing was clean and owner was accommodating. Close to the metro to get to other areas. All the great shopping is 3 stops away near the Spanish steps. The Italians are very nice people and accommodating. The tourists are rude pitiful and disrespectful.

The location of the hotel was perfect—right across the street from the Vatican, with easy access to bus stops and restaurants. A 10-15 minute walk took us to the main shopping streets. The room was just the right size, spotlessly clean, and beautifully decorated, with all the necessary amenities. the same as the pictures. There’s even a charming elevator with a small bench that takes you up to the 4th floor, where the B&B is located, adding a nice touch to the experience. Marco was fantastic! He welcomed us with a complimentary drink and truly went above and beyond. He even offered us free breakfast, gave us a city map, and shared great tips on must-see places. Although the hotel doesn’t officially provide luggage storage, Marco kindly arranged for us to leave our bags when we had a late flight. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return next time we visit!

We had a wonderful experience at Cameo B&B. Marco's hospitality is outstanding: always available, and answers every question. Although we didn't order breakfast, a surprise awaited us at the door - Marco treated us to a delicious breakfast. Nice room, very clean. Meet all our needs. We loved the location of the property as it was very close to the Vatican and there were several restaurants and shops in the vicinity. The host was very kind and accommodating. We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious croissants at our door in the morning. That started off our day with a huge smile. We also appreciated the fact that there was an elevator in the building as one of us was injured and the stairs would have been difficult to use at that time.

This is not the fault or responsibility of cameo b&b. If other tenants in the building do not close the (old-style, 1800s) lift doors, it remains stuck on the level. Signs are written to advise people to close all lift doors.

A home away from home, excellent location. Room was a good size. Clean, comfortable bed and firm foam pillows, tidy, attention to detail, Italian toiletries and cornetti (pastries) with condiments provided each morning. Good value for money.
