United KingdomThere isn’t many taxis, so book in advance or walk to Porto Azzuro for a taxi if you need to go somewhere further away. However the bus service was reliable and on time, a few steps down from the hotel to the right.
The pool area is amazing! Breakfast is lovely with a nice view out the front of the hotel. I had seen some reviews saying the short walk into Porto Azzuro was dangerous, I was pregnant so I was initially worried about this but we actually ended up doing the quick 15 min walk twice each night, as long as you stay by the wall and be careful it wasn’t an issue - I felt safe and the town is gorgeous!

Staying at Cala di Mola is like taking a time machine back to Costa del Sol in 1987! The rooms have obviously not seen any update in 20 years and the bright orange color is their signature mark. After the first initial laugh after entering the room, we just enjoyed staying in the 80´s for a few days! Apart from that, everything is very nice; good breakfast, the pool is great and the staff in the reception were extremely helpful and nice, gave us recommendations for dinner and sights to see. Parking is no problem and overall it was a very nice stay.

The pool was gorgeous and immaculately kept. Staff was very friendly and accommodating to our group of 6 adults and 3 children. Breakfast buffet was bountiful and delicious.

ItalyThe road to Porto Azzurro is short but unfriendly to pedestrians (keep it in mind especially if you plan to get there without a car). Prices were relatively high, considering that we were there in april.

ItalyI'll be pedantic in order to find something to write here. Parking spots were not an issue, but some guests' behaviour, parking in very inconvenient ways, occasionally was.
Cala di Mola is structured like a small Mediterranean village on the side of a hill directly facing the sea and offers a chilled and relaxing vibe. Our room was spacious, clean and with air conditioning. The private swimming pool right in front of the shore is quite large and offers guests the possibility to swim (25 meters) or to just relax (adjacent pool) without interfering with each other's goals :-) .There are two bars, both facing the sea, where we loved enjoying a very generous campari spritz! Staff is very friendly and helpful and deserve a mention of honor as the best staff I've met in 30 years of travelling. Some of the best beaches on the island can be reached within 30 minutes driving and 2 of the best restaurants on the island are within 5 minutes. Overall we loved the experience.

United StatesWe originally booked a quad room for our group, and realized there were no separate doors between spaces, so changed to a single and a triple to have some more privacy. The quad would be great for a family with two younger children; for adults and teens, multiple rooms were affordable and easy to navigate.
Beautiful location with stunning views. We felt like we were on the set of a glamorous vintage movie, with the picturesque white and orange rooms in the hillside. We enjoyed breakfast on the patio overlooking the water each morning, a short drive into town, and close to beautiful beaches.

IrelandLizard in the room, and ants, but this cannot be helped with the gardens/heat . Not a problem though as room was cleaned daily.
