If we had booked a room with en-suite it would have been better. We were lucky to get parking in the street but had to go to get a parking ticket each day.

Carlo was incredibly friendly and welcoming! He went out of his way to make us feel comfortable as well as providing suggestions for activities, called us a taxi and even accommodated doing some laundry free of charge. Carlos is a great manager and we enjoyed our stay!

A few days before our stay, we kept getting messages and emails about our reservation being cancelled if we didn’t make a payment ahead of time. When I tried to do that, it wouldn’t let me. It was stressful not knowing if our reservation would be cancelled or not. The property itself was great, but this glitch in the system was worrisome when one is trying to book ahead of time and make sure everything is set to go for a vacation.

Our room was spacious and clean. Carlo was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating! The breakfast was good. It took us about 25 minutes to walk to the train station, and we liked the location on a quiet street. The amenities were nice to have as well. Overall, it was a great stay in Florence, and I highly recommend!

It’s an older building so we really tried not to make too much noise to disturb anyone.

Loved the location and Carlo was very helpful and kindly gave us advice to help us plan our trip more effectively.

The property was close to buses to get you into the main shopping areas and attractions of Florence. It was also walking distance to Ponte Vecchio, restaurants and piazzas. The room we had was spacious, had a balcony with chair and tables and private bathroom. Breakfast was great and the host were magnificent. Carlo and his mother were super helpful and lovely to chat with. Only 2 sets of stairs and Carlo help us with our bags.

The most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed. Everything about this place was just lovely. The owner and his Mama made our stay, exceptionally friendly and could not do enough for you. Our little balcony in the morning overlooking the gardens with their beautiful cat enjoying the sunshine. Rooms are very comfortable and street is very quiet, but close distance to everything. What made our stay is Carlo and his Mama, we will never forget this stay, thank you

Fantastic B&B. Nice location for a walk round the old town and not far away from City Centre. Carlo was very helpful from the moment we stepped through the door. Visiting for the Firenze rocks festival and it was approximately 30 walk from the arena.

Wonderful stay! The location is perfect – situated on a quiet street. The terrace is stunning - we fell in love with it right away. The room had everything we needed and more: toothbrushes, a razor, slippers, and complimentary water. Carlo, the manager, was incredibly welcoming and helpful, offering us plenty of great recommendations on what to see and how to get around – he even provided us with a map. He was also so kind to store our luggage after check out until evening. The breakfast was also absolutely delicious. We’ll definitely be coming back again!

The noise from the neighbors using the hair dryer late at night and early in the morning.

Very good place to stay. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, within walking distance of the city center. Despite the late hour we arrived, the host Carlo was kind enough to wait for us and check us in. The room was cozy and had all the necessary amenities for a good rest. The breakfast that Carlo served us was excellent. He gave us directions for a good walk around the sights of Florence, as well as places to eat. Thank you Carlo.

It was very nice to stay in Carlo’s apartment. It was clean bright and in a good location. Carlo is a very friendly host, was quite useful with his meaningful advices!

Our stay at Burchiello b & b was wonderful. It was in a quiet location but still easy access to transport or to walk to the main touristy areas. Carlo the host is very inviting and friendly. Our room was perfect and the little details didn’t go unnoticed. Carlo supplied little toilet packs in case you need a tooth brush or razor which was a nice touch. Breakfast was supplied and was absolutely lovely.

It’s a little walk from the centre which suited us fine but may be an issue for others

Carlo was great, gave us tips about what to do and where to go in Florence. Room was clean and well equipped, bathroom was clean and functional. Carlo even included little extras like slippers and shower gel. Very happy
