Perfect location. 5 mins walk from St Mark’s Square but far enough along the lagoon front to be away from the over populated tourist areas. The next street over - Via Garibaldi has lots of bars, restaurants, shops, pharmacies etc. which we found very convenient for picking up bits and pieces. Views from hotel were sunning. We had room 305 (Junior suite with lagoon views). We were two adults and a 10 year old and this room and layout was perfect. All toiletries and mini bar stocked and room was always made up every day immaculately. Staff were excellent, very helpful, friendly and very personable. Because it’s a smaller, boutique hotel, service was impeccable and could be tailored to guests exact needs. Breakfast was plentiful and served either in the breakfast room with the gorgeous views or outside on the lagoon front. Such an amazing way to start your day in Venice. We would stay here again in a heart beat.

The room was just perfect We stayed in the top room and the view from the terrace was fantastic. Hotel is a little dated.but absolutely worth it as it was just outside the busier areas but within east walking distance Staff were very friendly and helpful

Staff very friendly & helpful. Boutique hotel with beautiful rooms like on an old ship. View from our room was amazing. Breakfast was extremely good for a small hotel, so much choice. Highly recommend staying here as great location just near Arsenale ferry terminal and close to everything but far enough from the crowds.

This is a beautifully run small hotel. This is our 2nd time here and we will return again and again should we return to Venice. Stefano on the front desk is a delight to converse with and nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is in an amazing location, nice and quiet but still right in the canal. The breakfast is delightful and the rooms are immaculate 👌

We liked everything (there was nothing we didn't like).

The Hotel Bucintoro is WONDERFUL! The staff is very intent on making your stay a very pleasant experience. Luca, Marco and Luis were so helpful and friendly in the check-in, booking a gondola activity and arranging our transport from Chioggia Port. Even the housekeeper and restaurant employees went out of their way to be kind and helpful. The hotel is in a great location on the main canal and our room had an excellent direct view of the Grande Canal. The room was beautiful Venetian style décor and was very clean, comfortable and well appointed. We felt we were definitely traveling in luxury with our stay at the Hotel Bucintoro and we highly recommend them for your stay in Venice.

The room’s wc is quite small. A lot like being in a ship’s cabin.

The location felt luxuriously exclusive and peaceful because of being away from the crowds but still basically on the water with a stunning sunset views from our room. Everything felt very high-quality and well-maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and efficient. The breakfast was over the top incredible for a European buffet.
