The only thing to mention is that it can be a bit noisy on Fridays as it seems that the place is located near offices and there are several bars to have an after-office drink. However, it didn't affect our sleep. In addition, we had to make a call when we arrived because the door is opened remotely. We had to use our telephone-line as the number was not added into whatsapp. I think it would be good to have a whatsapp number for people coming from another countries.

This was one of the best apartments we ever stayed in! I'm so happy. It really exceeded our expectations. It was very comfortable, had all essential items to cook, it was very clean and host was friendly. It was also located nearby a metro and train station.

very complicated first entry into the room. video instruction does not show how to open the first door. Concierge does not know where the apartment is. One key to exit to the street - it is inconvenient, even if you leave the keys to the room in the key box.

Nothing about the appartment at all. The door is a little different to a UK door which foxed us for a bit but we soon got the hang of it. Fantastic location was well worth it.

Excellent location and easy to find from the station, it's brilliant for exploring Milan and the appartment is well appointed with more than what we needed. We were a couple and the pull out bed was put up as well so we used that as a reclining sofa for watching the TV. Great wifi enabled us to work one day and the kitchen had enough equipment to cook with. The welcome pack was a nice touch and the bathroom was nice and clean and the shower was good with plentiful towels. We had a slight issue getting in down to not watching the door video. Do watch it before you go as there is a knack to it. They were very patient in explaining it to us whilst we were trying.

Beware, the location of the apartment is not what will appear on booking.com map. That's not Brera's fault but the result of a requirement by the site. Brera has several apartments in Milan, and booking.com requires one specific location for its map, so Brera gives a generic location, which is for an apartment close to Duomo. Ours was about a 30 minute walk from there but still it was in the fashionable Brera artsy area full of restaurants, galleries and shops. A 30 minute walk is not a big deal unless it's raining. (They did provide umbrellas). Brera will send you a video for accessing the apartment. It's a tad misleading. In reality, it is very simple. On reaching the apartment, call them. They will auto unlock the giant wooden door into the building remotely. They will also unlock a second metal grating door inside. From there, turn left immediately, find the lift and head to the third floor. Outside the apartment door is a tiny box with a key inside. The box can be unlocked with a code that they will provide you

The customer service team of Brera apartments is simply superb. Extremely polite, helpful and professional. They responded to every query quickly and in fluent English, A few times I had to call them on the phone and the response was immediate, as was the resolution of the problem. The apartment itself is great value for money. Don't expect Italian luxury but it is very comfortable and adequate, although a little lacking in furniture. That doesn't matter much since we were out the whole day.

Too few outlets within the apartment, especially the kitchen. Perhaps a few basic necessities such as salt/pepper, a few laundry pods and dishwashing pods.

Location was great. Apartment was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was nice sized with plenty of hot water. Communications were great, as was the check-in.

The bathroom had a sewerage smell and toilet flushing requires maintenance as it did not always work. The sofa bed would be most suitable for one person rather than two as a separate bed but suited us fine. There is a dishwasher but no powder/blocks provided and there was no teatowel to dry dishes. Overall provided basic facilities in kitchen.

Excellent location within walking distance to many attractions in Milan; great choice of restaurants in easy walking distance and close to supermarket. Bed was comfortable and great shower. The apartment is on the second floor of an apartment complex away from Corso Garibaldi and has a lift to assist with carrying luggage.

The main reason for choosing the apartment, apart from location, was the full kitchen and washing machine. However, the kitchen had no lighting whatsoever so you couldn't really cook at night. There was a light within the exhaust hood but it did not work. Secondly, we were disappointed to find there was no soap provided for washing clothes. We asked the host and she tried to arrange some but never got back to us. The rubber seal on the machine was also very dirty with mould/sludge. Bathroom was ok with a good shower but there were problems with the toilet flushing mechanism. The apartment could do with some maintenance and minor improvements to fix these issues which would make it perfect.

We stayed in an apartment at Corso Garibaldi 34. It was very spacious and in a lovely complex. The building has 2 inner courtyards with the bedroom windows facing one of them and the living/dining space facing the other which had a beautiful big tree, complete with resident squirrel. The apartment is nicely decorated and comfortable though we had no need to test heating or cooling as we had mild weather. The location is excellent, within 5mins walk from metro. There are lots of restaurants, cafes, bars and shops just outside on Corso Garibaldi, yet the apartment is very quiet.

There is a 50 euro charge if you arrive after 10pm, and after midnight you cannot access the apartment at all. We had to go to the sister hotel to pick up the keys which is close to the Duomo. This was a bit stressful after a long international flight. Also, we were informed the lift was broken and our apartment was on the fourth floor, the apartment is in a residential block and we carried our luggage up four flights of stairs, and then we found out the loft was actually working.

Large space, washing machine, accessible kitchen, great location- both quiet and convenient to the city. The location is amazing- only a 10 min walk to the duomo area and even cordona station which takes you directly to the airport. Great resturants around.

The host was very friendly and kind. The location of the apartment is great. It has a lot of restaurants and shops nearby. It is at around 25 min walk from Duomo square. The bed was comfortable.
