The buffet breakfast was not self-service. Every day was the same, without the slightest variation, the complete absence of fresh vegetables was surprising.

The hotel has a private rooftop pool with beautiful views of the sea and the nearby mountains. The location is a great starting point for exploring the sights (Pisa, Lucca, Florence) and natural beauty (marble quarries in Carrara, Apuan Alps, etc.)

For breackfast you had to ask a staff member to pass you bread, milk, croissant or cereal........... it felt like they wanted to limit the amount you took. Nothing was refused but it would have been easier and nicer to be able to select what you wanted yourself.

The bedrooms were well decorated and well fitted out, spacious bathroom and shower and a good size balcony. Reception area was good and the pool on the roof was good for a plunge. Reception staff very helpful.

The rudeness of the manager and some reception staff apart from Laura & Giulia. I would not return. They placed me in a room with a very ugly and depressing view.

Location was good. So was the pool( the hotel ask you to buy pool towels!!!! They dont provide it). The manager is not very polite, she doesnt have the skills to treat a guest well. I am very disappointed.

Hotel was across a road from the reception, no heating very cold staff said it was not turned on until Nov 15th 🤷 people serving your with Breakfast that was strange, basic room no pictures etc just needs a bit more comfort items, offered a blanket to keep warm hotel was full so no lack of finance to put some heating on

After we booked one room directly contacting them and were told they were sold out the day before, I found a free room for that day on Booking so I booked it. I immediately informed them that we were the same people for both rooms and were told it wasn’t a problem. When we got at the hotel the staff, especially the hotel owner, told us that we had made a mess and that we shouldn’t have booked an extra night through booking. (Probably because they told us it was sold out. On top of that the night on Booming was 40€ cheaper than the second night we had booked directly from them). We definitely won’t be returning here, mainly because of the very rude staff.

ROOM: Good, but the sanitary unit is cleaned with unknown cleaning agents. when you enter the room after cleaning - it is impossible to stay for several hours without opening the window. However, if your room faces the street, it will be difficult to rest because of the noise coming from the street. BREAKFAST: We were very surprised when it was forbidden to take any food by ourselves during breakfast! There is a dedicated waiter who puts what you ask for on your plate, but there is only 2 hours for breakfast, so there is a long queue! It seems that people still live here according to the rules of COVID-19 :D PERSONNEL: A VERY UNPLEASANT thing happened when we wanted to pay for the hotel in the evening, because we had a very early flight in the morning. We were almost sent to hell because it was already too late and only the watchman was left on duty for the night. The administrator obviously came to take the money, but I won't repeat all the rude words she said.

We really liked the place. Really close to a wonderful and clean beach where you can relax.
