We had an amazing stay at Borgo di Santa Barbara and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. This family-run hotel is incredibly welcoming, with staff who are only too happy to help. Our Junior Suite was perfect for our needs — the kitchenette was very well equipped, and the two balconies offered wonderful views that made our mornings and evenings special. Breakfast was great, with plenty of choice, and we especially appreciated the scrambled eggs made to order. We also had dinner in the hotel restaurant twice, and it was excellent — the desserts in particular were simply to die for! The swimming pool was another highlight, providing a lovely spot to relax and unwind. Overall, Borgo di Santa Barbara exceeded our expectations, and we can’t wait to return.

While it was not a huge concern for us, our room was very close to the railway line so at times we could hear the train passing.

The family who owned this property were truly amazing. Our room was pleasant and had a large outdoor area which was ideal for drying towels and clothes. The pool was exceptionally relaxing and it was lovely to be away from the hustle and bustle of Tropea but so close that you could enjoy it when you wanted to. We really loved being near Santa Dominica and found that the restaurants and people there were exceptionally kind.

Absolutely everything about this property is outstanding. Six out of five stars! Fabio and his family are running a beautiful resort. From the made from scratch food in the restaurant to the poolside cocktail service to the views of the seas- everything exceeded our expectations!

The Wifi was spotty at times in the room but was not a major issue. Everything else was perfect!

This is an amazing B&B with many things to offer. There are excision’s, a restaurant, inviting family atmosphere, amazing breakfast….I could go on. The owners are very welcoming and accommodating. We will be back.

Rooms were on the smaller side & the location was quite far from the Centre & from the beach. You definitely need to hire a car to get around. Thought it was quite expensive for what it was .

Wifi is limited to one connection per person, so if you have a phone and laptop you can only use one at a time. Should be increased to 2. Probably you can ask for more during check in.

It was a few minutes away from Tropea. Bed was comfortable, heating worked great, bathroom was very modern. Breakfast was very complete. Convenient parking inside the property.

Excellent service, all of the staff spoke besides Italian either English or German impeccably. Breakfast was good and fresh. The room's interior was not so much my taste but it was comfortable and well-equipped. Pool area is nice and not too crowded (at least during end of August when we were there). The surroundings of the hotel are beautiful and quiet. Without a car however it is virtually impossible to move around as for most or the road there is not even a sidewalk.

This is a beautiful family owned hotel with excellent, friendly service, a pool, a lovely restaurant, beautiful views, and delicious breakfasts. I had a lovely, modern room with a sea view and large terrace. I totally enjoyed my stay and would love to return.

We started with an argument with the manager because of a misunderstanding. His reaction was unpleasant and not hospitable. Small room and bathroom..

Nice area, well maintained, we received an upgrade of the room, good breakfast.
