A wonderful getaway in the charming region of Tuscany. Perfect place to relax in a real village setting. The pool was fantastic – we spent many sunny days there. Host Silvia deserves special thanks – very caring and attentive to every need.

The property is very well located amif you have a car. It is peaceful and very clean. Silvia is a great host who gave us a lot of nice reccomendations. As a plus we were able to see fireflies at night. Thank you, Silvia, for everything!

Our apartment was lovely. The bedroom and bathroom were large. We also enjoyed the washing machine to do laundry. The kitchenette was convenient. We were very comfortable at all times. Best all, Silvia, our hostess was so kind and helpful. We enjoyed meeting her.

The nights were cold, with only one blanket on the bed. We presumed the air-conditioners were reverse cycle allowing for heating but no remotes were available to turn on. There were heaters but we were unaware of how to turn them on. And there was no soap provided despite the host describing it in blurb about the soap being infused with olive oil from the family enterprise.

Our stay at Borgo da Vinci villa was truly exceptional! The location is perfect, just a 10-minute drive from the historic town of Volterra, allowing easy access to all its attractions while still providing a serene and private countryside retreat. The villa itself offers breathtaking views of the Tuscan hills, which made every morning feel like a dream. Our host went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, always ready with helpful tips and local recommendations. One of the highlights of our stay was the cooking class hosted by the owner's mother, a warm and knowledgeable guide to Italian cuisine. Her expertise and charm made the experience unforgettable, and it was such a treat to learn traditional recipes in such an authentic setting. Highly recommend Borgo da Vinci for anyone looking to experience the true essence of Tuscany in comfort and style. We can't wait to return!

Absolutely no negatives. This rental was perfect!

This property was the best rental we had on our two-week European vacation. It met our every need. We stayed in Munich, Florence, here (near Volterra), and in Rome. This was our favorite rental. We rented a two-bedroom suite, with private bath, kitchen, dining area, and living area. It also had a beautiful covered terrace to enjoy wine on while we looked out over the Tuscan hills. If you are looking for Tuscany, it’s right here. It’s a 10-minute drive to Volterra, where you can easily find public parking and walk into the city center for a day filled with great food, history, and stunning Tuscany views from the top of the city. In addition, there are many wineries to visit nearby. We parked in a public lot at the northern side of the city (Volterra), literally steps from the city center area. I used the map app on my iPhone and searched parking. Very easy in and out if your are intimidated by driving there. Don’t let that scare you. Some roads can get a bit narrow, but it’s very do-able. There are many great locations for a glass of wine, some with postcard views of the Tuscan hills. Just beautiful and what you picture in your mind when you think of Tuscany. However, the number one item that surpassed our expectations was the host, Silvia. She went above and beyond to help us through a very difficult situation when someone in our group fell Ill. Silvia knew we had a rough first night and as a generous gesture, she arranged for a morning bread and sweets delivery for us - I mean, how entirely sweet that was! She checked in on us often to see how the situation progressed.

The location, close to the beautiful town of Volterra. Easy to find from the airport and easy to get to lots of lovely places. The apartment itself was spacious clean and well equipped. Sylvia was a great host.

Great location in the country side but close to Volterra. Kid friendly with games and the pool. Take advantage of the bakery's bread! The host was helpful and welcoming.

Location relative to Volterra Centro Storico. Great host, accommodations had enclosed area for car, private terrace and entrance, beautiful view of the pool and surrounding area and this unit had a washing machine which was perfect. Also, great little places nearby to grab a bite.

Silvia was very attentive and thoughtful. A grand smile greeted us at the home. We were a little early, but could make use of the pool, while our room was being prepared. 10 minute drive from Volterra, A lot of privacy and a nice plot of land on a good location. Definitely recommend!
