People that are talking bad about this is staying, don’t have a clue about the whole experience they offer. You emerge in the countryside feeling of Toscana. They receive you as part of their family. The have a little Dog named Bafino, which is a truffle hunter. They serve wine from their own production and a delicious local food so you get deep in the whole experience.

That was highlight of our tour. Nice old rural place between wine yards, with exceptional hosts. Evening with dinner prepared by them and their fantastic chianti wine I will remember a long time.

Absolutely stunning location in Chianti region. Host Enso was very nice and make us feel like at home. Offered to us variety of vines from regions, and even prepared dinner for us and other hosts, so we feeled like on typical family dinner in Italy. Great experience

Amazing host, and hospitality! Lorenzo and his wife made us feel like we are distant relatives. We had dinner also included, and it was very yummy home made food, prepared by the fireplace, with a lot of wine and a good company! I highly recommend the experience. I certainly would like to come back, during the grapes picking season. The property located in very picturesque place, with vineyards outlook. You can not get more authentic Toscany experience than that.

Loved the location, ambiance and atmosphere. Staying with Enzo was a wonderful experience. The hot water was touch and go but can’t complaint given the age and history of the rural Italian farm buildings.

I stayed at Borgo Carpineto the night before Eroica. To my surprise, dinner was served on premises which was fantastic - bruschetta, pasta, grigliata mista, a Florentine steak expertly prepared, and cantucci and vin santo for dessert. The next morning, there was a beautiful spread of fresh pastries and juice on the table next to a fire burning in the fireplace. The owner made me a coffee on request, and I enjoyed breakfast while chatting with a couple other guests. I couldn't ask for a better stay.

Definitely the best stay we had in this part of Italy. Upon arrival we were greeted by the host that made us feel like we were at home. The breakfast was amazing (freshly baked croissants especially). Truly lovely stay in the middle of wineyards.

The family could have invested some money in the kitchen and made their lives much easier, for example by buying the dishwasher. It was sometimes difficult to communicate in English, so be prepared with a Google translator. Our fault was that we didn't ask about the price of the dinner and were surprised at the checkout.

Staying in this agriturismo you will feel like you are at home with an Italian family). Breakfast is included and you will get coffee, tea, yoghurt and very very tasty Italian croissants. For some price you can dinner as well. From this agriturismo you can reach Siena and its sights very quickly.

Being an ancient building the various floor heights and varying heights of step treads were a bit of a challenge for the more elderly but this was more than made up for by the wonderful atmosphere of a centuries old building. The varying hot water stream was a little disconcerting. Arriving at night the narrow roads and short stretch of gravel road were a bit of an adventure!

Ancient but recently renovated villa in classical Tuscan countryside. Great views. A generous breakfast (good coffee!) catering to a wide range of tastes shared with other guests in a homely kitchen environment. Fresh produce (figs/wine etc) from the estate was a bonus.Above all it was the generosity of the hosts and their obvious pride in their villa and willingness to make our stay as pleasant as possible that shone trough.
