Absolutely Wonderful Stay at Blu Vesuvius! I had an incredible experience at Blu Vesuvius in Sorrento. The property is stunning—spotlessly clean with all the amenities you could need, and the view is simply breathtaking. Francesco and his family were warm, helpful, and truly made me feel at home. Adriano was also amazing—kind, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Their hospitality really made the stay special. I can't recommend Blu Vesuvius enough. If you're visiting Sorrento and want a peaceful, scenic, and comfortable place to stay with amazing hosts, this is it!

It was difficult to get around if you didn’t have a car. The host Francesco, was kind enough to drive us into city center frequently, which we were very grateful for.

There is a bus stop just up from Blu Vesuvius, but the bus did not stop there a few times. The following stop was only a 10 min walk from Blu Vesuvius so we didn't mind too much, but just be aware in case it happens to you :)

The view, the house, the spa, the breakfast, the bottle of bubbly on arrival... It was all so perfect. We met some of the host's family (they live in the upper level of the building) - they were welcoming and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. We even received a little parting gift on our last morning, which was a lovely way to end the stay. You can get between Blu Vesuvius and Sorrento city center via bus, but I recommend walking the distance at least once. It is steep getting back up to Blu Vesuvius (oh so steep!) but we enjoyed the experience and chose to walk most days. There are a few restaurants within walking distance from Blu Vesuvius that are worth checking out, too.

Maybe an additional comfy chair in the lounge in addition to the couch so that all members can cosy up for a night in as although the couch is a good size, it is a bit squishy to comfortably watch TV together as a group of three.

Blu Vesuvius is a gem of a place with outstanding views over the Bay of Naples overlooking Mount Vesuvius and with wonderful facilities including a ‘hot tub’ which is actually chilled to cool you off in the summer heat. A beautiful selection of breakfast items and adorable touches like freshly picked tomatoes and lemons and a bit of sparkling wine chilled for your arrival and a very thoughtful bottle of homemade limoncello on our departure. The terrace is deceptively big with 4 different areas to relax including the ‘hot tub’ area, the lounger area, the beautiful dining table area perfect for breakfast or an evening meal and the outdoor couch chill out area - the expansive views are second to none. Powerful showers. The beds were incredibly comfortable and no request was too much - the hosts were always happy to answer any questions, replenish products, attentively check-in on our needs over our stay and arranged our airport transport. The location is just outside Sorrento up the mountain and a short bus ride into the city centre for €2 with regular pick ups and drop offs outside of the accommodation. The property was also incredibly clean with crisp bedding and the ‘hot tub’ was regularly cleaned throughout our stay to keep it fresh. The air conditioning was also a welcome relief!

We had to leave

We loved it!. Adriano, his wife and parents are such lovely people. When we arrived, WOW!, my wife was in tears. The view is truly spectacular both day & night. The accommodation was perfect for the 2 of us although there is a 2nd bedroom. Classy decor, spacious, private gate/parking, garden, pool tub and unobstructed views of the bay of Naples with the see blending in to a bed of green olive & lemon trees. At night, it was so peaceful, at times you could hear a pin drop. We rented a scooter which made our journey to town 10 mins each way. If you value tranquillity, this is the place for you. Fully deserved rating. Keep up the good work Adriano, it was a pleasure to meet you.

What a wonderful stay! The owner welcomed us with open arms and a cold bottle of processo. The view is beautiful!! Especially when you are having breakfast on the terrace (personal favorite). The surroundings are wonderful. The garden is really beautiful and big. Lots of space to enjoy the sun and relax. The jacuzzi was perfect with this warm weather. Everything was clean and maintained. Everything feels new. The bus leaves in front of the door, is easy to travel with and is cheap! Taxi is also a good way to travel. You can also walk down yourself in 20 minutes and enjoy beautiful views along the way that you would not otherwise see. Breakfast was delicious, the pancakes were our favorite, just like the homemade limoncello! :) We will definitely come back!

The view was unbelievable! The owner’s father and nephew were very helpful and made our stay wonderful. The accommodations were over the top!

Absolutely stunning view, location is only a 10 minute bus ride into the centre. Owners are so welcoming and helpful! Alongside go above and beyond to accommodate any needs you may have. If you are visiting sorrento and want to experience a truly unique and wonderful place look no further. I can’t thank Adriano, Carolina & the rest of the family for having me and my partner. We will be returning without a doubt 🙏🏽
