How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I was there 10 years ago and I felt that the overall quality made a step back. The room lacks maintenance. 2 electric plugs were broken, the cable of the tv was partially broken, the hair dryer was broken too.
Amazing staff, common areas are still stunning, very good restaurant for dinner and breakfast

Just passing through and chose this due to its relative proximity to Naples Airport. And that worked well for us. Easy arrival. Safe, overnight parking. Decent restaurant. Lovely big cool room. Good sleep, quick breakfast and easily away in the morning to catch our plane.

Beautiful hotel, so peaceful , a mix of old and new decor. You do need a car for exploring or organise transfers in advance.

Had issues with flies and misquotes in our room.
Eggs were cold. Server sneezed in his hands and continued working. Terrible coffee. Very noisy from renovations.

Staff from the reception are not welcoming. I also work in a hotel and I was surprised that the guy who received us when we checked in did not seem to welcome us wholeheartedly, that day of July 17, 2024, 14:00. I am so disappointed, we’re so tired from our long journey and he seemed he didn’t want to work or accept any guest. I know that maybe he was tired but please we paid for the service, can you please do your job well?
The rooms are clean and comfortable. I like that it had a swimming pool.

Bathrooms could be modernised.
One night stay on our drive down to Calabria. A bit tired design, but very functional and very clean. Convenient location.

We had some issues during the stay but not worth mentioning. The staff from reception were not very helpful (with exception of one really nice guy, but don’t remember his name, work during the day). Staff from the restaurant and the guy from the bar were really nice!!
Good location if you have a car and wish to visit Naples, Pompeii, Amalfi coast… They also offer parking, 8€ a day (trip on May 2024).

Air-conditioning wasn't working for the hotel, perhaps they don't use it until later on the year but the room was uncomfortable hot. Had to leave window open, some noise but we weren't directly next to a road.

No air conditioning in room, breakfast little better than less expensive places.
Room was a good size, beds were comfortable, secure parking, great view of Vesuvius from our room. Quite opulent decor everywhere.

Walls were thin and we could hear everyone coming off the elevator

While parking was free, we were told that it was recommended to stay in a special paid parking, because parking outside they could not guarantee the "safety" of our car... that felt a bit coercive. Second, the rooms were a bit shabby and in need of a little renovation - wallpaper was peeling off, some sockets were loose, towel racks bent and useless. Third, you cannot control the heating from the room - the air condition control panel does not work. We had to ask the reception to switch it on from there and then there was no way to switch it off except to call them. Finally, going back into our room after dinner, the room smelled like somebody smoked in there - the smell seemed to come from the air conditioner in the room . The hotel clerk told us the smell came from "outside" and did not help at all.
Good location outside of town and about 20 minutes drive from the airport, plenty of restaurants nearby. The rooms were large and clean and comfortable.
