My only small complaint is that the sauna is only open for two hours a day. It was hard to fit in time in their beautiful sauna between our outings and before dinner (which also only runs for two hours) started. We offered to pay extra to keep the sauna on longer but they declined.

This family-run alm is beautifully remodeled. The rooms, facilities, and particularly the sauna are fantastic. Authentic mountain food from the kitchen too with locals visiting the restaurant. The family upgraded us to a nicer room because they weren't too busy. The views are fantastic and you have quick access to Bruneck.

There is nothing I don't like about this place.

We come here every year, and it just keeps getting better. Rooms are perfect, the building filled with alpine details and warmth. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Home away from home.

Great location, however the traveler needs a car since it is 3 km up in a mountain which is not reached by public transportation and difficult to be located by google maps. Very calm place. Beautiful view Nice staff

Lack of Room Amenities: Toiletries were limited to towels and a liquid soap dispenser attached to the wall. Despite being labeled as a 3-star hotel, the rooms lacked basic amenities such as a small fridge, kettle, or coffee machine. This absence proved inconvenient for early risers who couldn't enjoy a hot beverage in their room. Misleading Sauna Inclusion: We booked a room with a supposed sauna, but it turned out to be a fancy shower cabin with additional buttons. The higher price for this room was not justified. Poor Room Assignment: Despite booking at 50% capacity, we received a room with no view, facing the backyard where other lodges could easily see inside if curtains weren't drawn. I regret not asking for another room. Hazardous Icy Conditions: The entire domain was covered in ice, posing a risk of injury and making it challenging to move around without the fear of slipping and falling. We had to navigate our ski boots and carry all our luggage down a slope to reach the hotel reception, and the entire path was covered in ice. Unpleasant Personnel Attitude: The most disappointing aspect of our stay was the personnel's attitude, an experience marred by unprecedented disrespect. I've never encountered such behavior from hotel staff. I strongly recommend basic hospitality training to address this issue. On our 5th night, the hotel organized a large party for adolescents, called “Fasching”. Unfortunately, our room was directly above the party venue, disrupting our peace. When I informed the receptionist about the noise, she displayed an obnoxious attitude, insisting on communicating only in German or Italian, as none of the personnel spoke English. Despite my attempts in broken German, she reluctantly offered another room after a heated argument. The replacement room lacked internet access. This encounter marked the ugliest attitude I've ever faced.

Beautiful Location: The hotel is situated in a stunning and remote area, offering picturesque villas. Serene Environment: Theoretically the setting provides a tranquil atmosphere, ideal for those seeking quiet time (not the case for our stay). Decent Breakfast: The breakfast selection is good, offering a variety of options.
