What an amazing hotel. The family that run it are just delightful and incredibly helpful. The location is perfect. We spent some time sitting in our balcony watching the world go by enjoying the beauty of the lake. Right in the heart of Salo with all the shops and restaurants as well as a couple of minutes to the ferry. The room was beautifully clean and breakfast was delicious.

The only thing I would mention is that the water from the shower splashes on the floor as there is no screen door. But it is not a big deal, just good to know!

Amazing hospitality and food! The hosts were so accomodating and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. I would book this place one hundred times over if I could. Quality linen and bedding, amazing views, junior suite was so private, best breakfast I’ve had. Great location. Good price.

I didn’t like the mattress too low and pillows too hard. The 2 twin bed gap felt uncontrollably for ke and my partner

Situated on the lake front with stunning views from the balcony, great for relaxing and watching the world go by. Staff really welcoming, friendly and helpful. Bed was very comfortable and we slept like babies. Room size was larger than expected and allowed the air con to circulate and keep us cool on warmer days. Definitely worth a visit.

Lovely location in the middle of salo. Very cool style excellent restaurant with v. nice music. Very nice helpful staff, very well maintained perfect style. Wonderful breakfast and food.

But you can’t even get a car there so if you have luggage, it’s pretty awkward. It’s in a pedestrian zone There’s no parking except quite a way away which is annoying. We had the view of the street instead of the lake which I expected. That wasn’t clear when we booked.

An amazing location right on the lakeside, traffic free but full of life. The room was quirky, modern and spacious. We were delighted to be upgraded to a wonderful lake view from our balcony. We appreciated the kettle and fridge. The breakfast was very plentiful with lots of choice and freshly cooked eggs. Be prepared to shower in full public view of your partner! The promenade outside the hotel was beautiful with lots of choices of places to eat, drink and sit and people watch.

Unfortunately there was no door on the shower which meant the floor did get rather wet. Be prepared for the fact that the hotel has no parking. We parked in a nearby multi story car park at the cost of €17/ day.

Fantastic location, staff very helpful and friendly, ease of check in and out, stunning views, great breakfast and coffee. AMAZING shower!

Small things like some of the fixtures in the room were a little loose. Just minor things and having to be really picky here.

Wonderful family run small hotel right on the lake. Breakfast was terrific and dinner at the hotel exceeded our expectation. Everything was delicious

Close to all amenities in the town, amazing views of the lake and small streets, breakfast every morning was 10/10 with a range of options catering to all diets and the staff were so accommodating and friendly throughout our stay!
