Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Our hotel room had a strange raised section after the door, and before the bathroom, when going to the bathroom at night it was very easy to trip over with dim lighting, as its painted the same colour as the floor
Hotel staff were very warm and welcoming, and very helpful.

Nothing to complain about really but only slight thing was the radiator in the bathroom wasn’t able to actually be turned on and used to dry clothes.
Location is great, pool was nice, breakfast was a good variety and the rooms were immaculate. Decor of the hotel was really cool too.

The location was perfect, 5 min from station, 10-15 min from the city center. We liked the swimming pool and the gym too. The staff was kind and helpful.

The temperature would not go below 25C in the room which made getting to sleep a bit tricky for people who are used to cooler temps.
The owner was so lovely, he was helpful and kind and gave us a walkthrough on what we should see on our Venice day trip. We loved the dog, Luna, and the breakfast was honestly great.

You can easily hear the neighbors, or the washing machine in the yard. The breakfast is not rich but is satisfying.
Overall everything was great, the room, the staff. The location is good, close to the train station, close to the center. Is to use the train for close trips.

So many different steps/levels in the room, had to really pay attention to walking around.

Nothing, all good.
The hotel’s location is perfect, a few minutes from the train station and a 15 minute walk into town. It’s well maintained and beautifully decorated. Breakfast had a good variety on offer. The bed was extremely comfortable; we had a decent sized room with a balcony (an unexpected bonus). Staff were friendly and welcoming. It was lovely to relax in the garden and poolside. Thanks for a wonderful visit!

We really liked this hotel. We didn't dare to expect much, but we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel is in a great location - in a quiet and safe area overlooking the lake, only a 10-minute walk to the most active area of Desenzano. There are many different places to eat nearby. We were able to park our rental car in the hotel courtyard. The hotel room was big enough and decent, with a balcony overlooking the pool and the lake. The hotel breakfast was rich enough and really tasty. The pool area was just the right size and very comfortable. You could order cocktails and snacks from the hotel bar/cafe. Special thanks to the staff - they were so friendly and helpful and always greeted us with a smile.

Only coffee could be a bit better.
Everything was perfect. Room was spacious, clean, renovated and well equipped. Tasty breakfast - eggs, bacon, croissants and much more. You can definitely find something for you. Great pool with a peaceful garden right next to it. 5 mins to the train station, 5-7 mins to the lake.

Nothing not to like, our stay was enjoyable.

A bit more space in the room would be nice. We were 4 (2 adult+2 kids) in one room. Was a bit challenging to fit.

Uphill walk from town but benefit was it is close to station.
Very friendly, helpful owners/staff. I was early for check-in but they kindly stored my luggage. Room spotless. Mini fridge was welcomed addition. Great selection for breakfast & swimming pool was lovely. WiFi was good. Even though a single room it was well planned & very adequate.
