The only thing that caught us off guard is that the hotel is kind of a hike away. It's pretty high up on the hill, so it required a lot of walking to get to and from it.

The property is beautiful and all of the facilities were so nice - we spent a lot of time out by the pool! The staff was great - everyone was super helpful and accommodating. It was my husband's birthday trip, and on his actual birthday, they told him "Happy Birthday" at breakfast, and brought him a dessert at dinner. They made the day feel very special for him. Anytime we needed assistance, from reservations to private water taxis, the front desk was super helpful in making sure we were taken care of. Our room was amazing! The views were amazing. It was the perfect escape. We also really appreciated the option for the private shuttle when needed.

The only thing I didn't like was leaving.

Everything was truly exceptional from the time we arrived until we checked out. Top notch service, rooms are beautiful and the view can't be beat. The food in Albòri was delicious, and their pastry chef is a true artist. It is an elite hotel. Yes, you pay for it but it was totally worth it to us. I write this from another hotel in Venice, that costs almost as much, and isn't even close to the quality experience we had at the Belvedere.

I chose to stay at Hotel Belvedere to celebrate my husband's birthday and the team helped me plan a seamless and memorable picnic on top of the olive tree hill. Let me start by saying the entire staff at Hotel Belvedere were impeccable - friendly, professional, and always with a smile. They were extremely responsive via email in the weeks leading up to our stay, helping with planning the birthday surprise, to which I was very grateful. Breakfast every morning was excellent, and dinner at Albori was delicious. The hotel grounds are beautiful, so charming and incredibly well-kept, the views just take your breath away. Massage treatment at the spa was heavenly, and our family spent many hours in the pool. Our room was spacious and felt like a home away from home. Hotel location was convenient with proximity to many wonderful shops and restaurants within walking distance. I honestly cannot give higher praise - our stay was nothing short of amazing and just simply perfect. This can only be expected of a woman-owned and operated establishment. We wished we could stay longer and were quite sad to leave. It would not an exaggeration to say that this is definitely my most favorite hotel of all time. Sincere thank you to the entire team at Hotel Belvedere for making our stay so memorable. Grazie mille! We will be back!

Safety. There was a step getting into the hotel and I fell causing ankle problem for the rest of my trip to Italy. Unfortunate but hotel should address this issue. I was told that others have tripped on this same spot.
