It would have been nice if the place was a little cleaner.

The location of the facility, just a 10-minute walk from the train station, was a great advantage for us. The host was amazing — she introduced us around the city, and helped us with anything we needed. We really liked the coffee and snacks served in the mornings. We would like to thank her sincerely for all of these and would definitely recommend the facility to anyone wanting to stay here.

My stay was amazing. The host was so accommodating and welcoming. She wanted to make sure that I had everything that I needed and even helped with my luggage. Definitely would recommend to anyone that is looking for somewhere to stay in Florence. Only a 15 minute walk to the center as well!

Screens on the windows/mosquitos

Rosa was incredible, the historic building was beautiful, we felt at home, and the location was wonderful.

Would have liked breakfast a little earlier.

Our room was clean and tidy and breakfast was available, Rosa made a great cup of coffee! She was so friendly and helpful, gave us lots of information regarding visiting the city, from where to eat and where to catch buses. She also supplied us with an umbrella and mosquito repellent plug!!

The apartment was clean and lovely. The hostess Rosa was super helpful and gave us nice tips for exploring the city. The location was quite easy accessible from S.M. Novella station by tram.

We had a wonderful stay. The host lady was incredibly kind and made us feel very comfortable. The room was clean and spacious, and the location is great for travel by train – just a 10-minute walk to the train station. Highly recommend!

My only problem was getting in. I was standing in the rain and could not contact anyone. Someone in the building assisted but it was stressful to think I was without a room after a 20 hour flight

The building is old so there are a few creeks from the plumbing, a little noise from traffic outside and an old fashioned lift to the apartment. These things didn’t bother us, but added to the charm. It didn’t affect our stay in the least.

Good size room, bed comfortable. An easy walk to the train station and centre of Florence. The host was lovely and gave us lots of recommendations for places to visit, restaurants and local customs and specialties. Would definitely revisit.

Pillows not the best for me but I am particular with them. Bathroom small and water pump a bit noisy , a smell every now and then from drains but nothing too bad.

Rosa is a fabulous host, very good during checkin and she explained bus routes and best things to see. Made a great espresso and was cheerful and friendly. Location is great close to train station and markets etc lift and air con fantastic room was well kept and suitable for purpose.

We arrived on a very hot day, but the room was airconditioned. We loved our balcony and the possibility to use a shared fridge. The room was clean and our host Rosa welcomed us with a map and detailed infos about all the important sights. Even though we hadn't booked breakfast, Rosa made us the best espresso every morning. The accommodation was just 10 Min by foot away from the station and 20 Min to the city centre (cathedral) so we walked a lot. Another fact we loved: The other guest were mainly real Italians and less tourists so we could practice our little Italien skills. ;)

Toilet system antiquated, very smelly when used. Make sure when booking to check if bathroom is in room or separate.

Easy to get to from S M Novella. Tram stops across the road. Has a lift to rooms.

Value for money. 15 mins walk or two tram stops to train station. Rosa was very good with instructions on where to go and how to get there. Have cash ready for city tax. We had a nice big room.

I understand the use of motion activated lighting to save energy, but a dark stairwell feels less inviting. The old fashioned elevator was a lovely alternative and it worked well.

The host was kind and helpful, she offered to get my trolley ticket the morning I left. The room is quiet and airy, the amenities were just right. So nice to have a balcony- I could see the moon rise!

Rosa is a wonderful host, before arriving she asked in advance when we would be check in and we agreed on a check-in time. Met us. Upon arrival, she told us where to go for a walk, where to go and how to get to attractions. The room and bath are clean, there is a towel and shampoo, the room is spacious, comfortable, there is also a separate kitchen where there is everything you need. Recommend. I had very good impressions

The room is pretty small but for this price nothing to complain.

The staff (Rosa), the big and comfortable bathroom, the locaton is perfect when travelling by train. We could leave the luggage after the check-out.
