Nothing, the apartment was great. If I had to do anything different, it would be the transportation to/from the apartment. We would probably not walk the mile from the train station with wheeled luggage (due to the bumpy streets). And, on departure, we used a taxi that would not accept a credit card, which surprised us.

We (husband/wife and adult son) arrived via train, and walked (about 1 mile) to the apartment. We loved the Santa Croce neighborhood... still has tourists, but very safe, and quiet at night. Close enough to everything but not right in the middle of it. We were met by the owner and she walked us through the apartment and gave us useful recommendations. The apartment was modern and the main bed was comfortable, and the sofa bed was good for a couple of nights. We would definitely stay again.

Over time, there was a strange odor in the bathroom. Guessing is a common septic tank issue in some hotels in Italy. Not horrible but present, nonetheless.

The location was ideal. Close to everything with all amenities near by.

Only thing was, at the top of the mezzanine, it was hot before the air con is at the bottom.

Air conditioning is poor. Could be because of serious heat wave. But it seems like AC units are locked to function at a low efficiency.

Great host, great location and clean indeed. Only fault I could find was the AC near the sofa bed was almost none. The apartment is well connected and right in the center of the historic center. So far best place in Italy.

The relatively new washing machine wasn’t working on arrival, but Naima was very proactive and offered to get our laundry done and in the end got someone in the next day to get it fixed. So in the end it did not cause us any major issues at all

It was a little warm the air conditioner could have been cooler however Florence was having a heatwave.

The loft apartment was beautiful, spacious and clean and had all the amenities we could need for a 4-night stay. Our host Naima was friendly, responsive and proactive, even offering to assist with bookings and providing restaurant recommendations. The location in Santa Croce was very central, walking distance to all the attractions and to great restaurants and cafes, but just outside the very crowded centre, which was nice at the end of a long day. One of the best stays we had in Italy., we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

it was always raining during our stay :-), I understand the owner could not help us on this issue :-), She offered us umbrellas through.

The owner is very nice. She was waiting for us outside of the apt even we were a little late. She showed us everything that we need to know, and specifically explained how to get into the room: there are several doors with different keys. Furthermore, the owner was very responsive when we need help. shortly after she left, we had another question that needs her help, she quickly returned and helped us. On the last day, we hoped to get a little flexibilty after we checked out: to store our luggages for some additional time, she was so kind and helped us to solved the issue without any additonal cost. Overall, we enjoyed the stay very much, and the wine, sparkling water she provided when we checked in.

The place was spacious and tidy, the beds were really comfortable, and white linens always adds something special to it. There were fresh flowers and the place smelled very nice, which made the stay even more pleasant. The place was equipped with all the necessities, even a bottle of wine (although we didn’t find any coffee or tea, and didn’t want to buy the whole thing, so we couldn’t enjoy a cup of tea before bed after a rainy day in town, but I guess that’s our problem). The location was absolutely perfect, all the sights were a walk away.

This place was amazing!! Not only did we get a bottle of wine, sparkling water and still water for free included in our booking, it looks just like the photos, it is very clean and has everything you would need. Also, the owner was so kind! She was there to check us in at 23:00 because our flight got in late. She was very easily reachable via text when we had troubles with the key. She let us store our bags there after check out for a couple of hours. Overall we have never had a more kind and helpful host! The location is great (about a 14 minute walk to the duomo and a 3 minute walk to Basilica of Santa Croce). For such an affordable price, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience, if you’re thinking about it, definitely book here!

The apartment had a mild "old building" smell that the owner tried to cover with fragrance sticks. We had to put those sticks away into a laundry closet because our family is sensitive to fragrances. The apartment was very hot, especially the loft area where the kids had to sleep. The air conditioner unit was located in the living area and despite working non stop, the area in the loft was never cool enough to sleep comfortably or sleep at all. We struggled to sleep through both nights: on top of being hot, the air conditioner was too loud. The kids in the loft were sweating heavily and tossing in bed. Everyone was pretty tired in the morning which is very frustrating when you need to be on foot the whole day walking thousands of steps trying to see as much as possible. The second night the living area was finally cooled down, but the loft area was still very hot so we had to take the mattress, that the kids slept on, downstairs and they slept on the floor by our bed. The bathroom door was impossible to close. My 15-year old managed to close it but broke the skin on his hand.

Cute studio apartment within a 10-min walk to major sightseeing places. Spotless clean. Washer with a dryer. Easily accessible host that responds right away. Nice bakery steps away.
