How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

We had an extra door, which was connected to the other room, where others were staying, and we could hear everything they said and did.
Close to the highway, easy parking on the street in front of the accommodation, clean, nice room, equipped with everything. New tv, comfy bed, coffee machine, small croissants on the countertop

The communication with the host only via Whatsapp (I personally don't like this kind of contactless approach). The room was rather noisy and dark. The AC was also noisy and not strong enough. A quiet fan would be a better and more ecological solution.
The apartment was spacious, pleasantly decorated and impeccably clean. There was a big bathroom, a fridge and a coffee machine. An early check-in.

Everything was great! It’s a little far from the center of town, but that was our choice because we wanted to save some money, and we are happy we did. It is an easy bus ride to town. We usually just walked (about 45 minutes) because we like to walk.
The apartment was just as promised and very clean and comfortable. The host, Fabio was extremely kind and helpful. When we wanted to do laundry and found out that the machine wasn’t working, Fabio took our laundry and washed it at his place for us, even though it was a Saturday night. We would strongly recommend this place.

The biggest issue was the location. The distance to the city centre was a bit to far and the neigborhood did not seem very friendly. If you are there to enjoy Verona, a place closer to the city would be preferable. The room was very nice, but the fridge was quite noisy at night which may disrupt your sleep if you're a light sleeper.
For a B&B the stay was great with a comfy bed, good AC and a nice, clean bathroom. The instructions to find the room was easy and the coffee at the room was easy to make and tasted nicely. There was no breakfast included, but a nearby supermarket and the fridge in the room made it doable to have a good breakfast.

Host was very friendly and welcoming. Great terrace with outdoor kitchen, which was perfect for relaxing and making light meals. Easy Parking and just a short drive to the city center.

We did not meet the owner, the b&b room is one out of three rooms in an appartement, the building entrance and the building from the outside look like it needs renovation; the breakfast is only a shelf with a coffee machine and some biscuits; below there is a fridge with water and orange juice.
Easy booking, good communication and easy check-in + parking opposite of the b&b, clean. By car, it takes 7min to downtown (before finding a paid parking)

The air conditioning did not work very well and did not really cool down much
Clean and host left water and juice in the fridge which was appreciated.

Breakfast was just juices in the fridge (8 small bottles of just pineapple juices, no selection) and some confectionery brioches...not a breakfast expected from a B&B and no milk ....the fridge was too noisy

Very noise from the street . There is a refrigerator in front of the room . The noise is terrible, not possible to sleep. They can put a little money for normal stay. The breakfast thing than the leave are not possible to eat.

This B&B is in an industrial area a bit scary to say the least, to go to our room from the main floor up two flights of stairs was done in the dark, no light just what our cell phone lite up. Then the same once you enter the hallway to our room ( IN THE DARK ) the hallways are dirty and need painting. The overall condition of the inside of the room is dirty, guitar hanging on the wall with lots of dust on the top, the electrical plug in the washroom was not functional as our reciprocal always fell out, the kitchen was not properly equipped no tea towels, the patio was dirty. Would never stay there again, be careful.
