There is not AC but a decent ventilator, which is not a dissappointment as it was correctly advertised, just something to keep in mind if you have trouble sleeping when its warm.

Great location right in the center of lucca about a 15 min walk from the central train station. Beautiful interior and a very responsive and kind host that was reachable by phone at any time.

The room was a bit warm without an air conditioner but we knew this when booking. It seriously wasn’t that bad at night after we got used to it. It does say it very clear so make sure you read before booking. Although she does have fans to use if you message prior to booking in.

This property was very clean and elegant. The host made the instructions to enter the property very clear so the self check in was easy. We loved Lucca and the property was beautiful. It still has an old interior making it more traditional. The owner is so lovely and accommodating.

I think that this is a very special place that suits people who are interrested in culture and history and are quiet. It is extremely easy to hear others (thin doors), and wifi is quite bad. Beds are ok. Romantic for some. So magnificent stay for some people, and less for others. Even though the host makes clear that breakfast is not included, I join the rest who thinks the name is misleading.

The room is incredibly beautiful, like a museum, which may suite some but not others. I loved to be in the rooms and halls, and the small library.

While we knew there was no elevator there are numerous stairs so take note. Limited food preparation area.

Checkin via messages and key box worked fine. The apartment is quaint in the older style. Nicely decorated and old worldy. Or room was clean and spacious with window opening onto the street below. Three separate bathrooms were all clean and there was always one available. Great location to explore a wonderful city. Train access to Florence and Pisa was easy.

It is a genuine and authentic place to stay. Good value for money and a nice flavor of the “old style” Italien living. Free supply of coffee and tee. Nice common areas to hang out with lots of interesting interior details. All together a perfect deal in the center of town.
