cleanliness, sincerity, location and architecture

Very close to the center but far from its noise. The room's architecture is very stylish, and the breakfast is excellent, neither too much nor too little. Sandra's sincerity and helpfulness are incredible. Having traveled almost all of Italy's coasts, I think this is the best place I've ever stayed.

Wonderful stay – highly recommended! We felt completely comfortable at this hotel. Our room (105) was a bit small with a window facing the inner courtyard, but we knew that in advance and it didn’t bother us at all. It was very modern and equipped with everything we needed. The building has been beautifully renovated, retaining its old charm: high ceilings and lovely original features create a special atmosphere. The breakfast was excellent – varied, fresh, and with something for every taste. A real highlight was the host, Sandra: always available, friendly, and incredibly helpful. She gave us great tips for day trips and even organized a last-minute transfer for us when our planned bus didn’t show up – we were so grateful! We would come back anytime and can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel!

There was no hot water for a short time, but Sandra was concerned and tried to help.

Sandra was a very nice host and provided us with many recommendations. The location is excellent—within 10 minutes walking distance to the city center, with good restaurants nearby. We also found free street parking, so that wasn’t a problem of you are planing to come with the car. The breakfast was also very good. Overall, it’s a very good place for the price and quality.

The Bed and Breakfast in Trapani was very comfortable. The owners arranget it in a very tasteful and thoughtful way. It’s located in an old building that has been converted into a B&B. Some architectural elements—such as the floors, parts of the walls, and the ceiling—were left untouched, preserving the original character. The rest was redesigned in a modern style by the owner, who is an architect. The bathroom was very modern. The bed was high quality—slightly firm for my taste, but still excellent. There was a nice view from the balcony. The breakfasts were absolutely exceptional—the best I’ve had in all my travels. They included fresh fruit, delicious local cheeses, homemade cakes baked by the owner’s mother, homemade orange and strawberry jams, and olive oil made by the owner’s mother-in-law. The owner gave us helpful advice on how to get around and recommended great restaurants when we asked. Not only were we allowed to check in early because the room was ready, but we were also able to leave our luggage until the evening, since our flight was later that day. It’s a truly hospitable place. I really loved it and recommend it with all my heart.

Sandra was so friendly and made us feel at home. She was always happy to chat but also happy to leave us to ourselves. She also gave us great recommendations! The room was clean and comfortable and Sandra gave us very detailed and helpful directions to find free parking without falling foul of the street cleaning restrictions (there is lots of free parking very nearby with occasional restrictions). Breakfast was big and had lots of nice options for different diets

We visited Sicily for my birthday and booked the apartment (room 104) which was fantastic. Sandra was not there when we arrived late, but the instructions for self check in were very easy to follow. Bassi77 is about 10-15 minutes walk from the Old Town and the space itself is very big with plenty of room to spread out and store our bags and suitcases without it feeling cluttered. It has a large balcony in the middle which lets in lots of light. The decoration of the apartment (and the rest of the building) is superb, with domed ceilings, tiled flooring and lots of nice details. Sandra has put a lot of effort in to this place and it shows. And it is not just the building she has put effort into, she is a warm, patient and attentive host who is on hand to chat and help with advice and recommendations on your visit to Sicily. Thanks to her we decided to visit the island of Favignana and had a fantastic day on electric bikes visiting coves and beaches, something I would highly recommend. We opted to have breakfast during our stay and this was very tasty with a selection of fresh fruit, yoghurt, cheese, meat, bread and pastries. Sandra's home-made marmalade is delicious and comes highly recommended! My only regret is that I didn't try the home-made tarts or cakes, and I wished I had wrapped a slice up for the plane journey home! If we go back to Trapani, we will go back to Bassi77. Thank you Sandra, and thanks again for the birthday bubbles too, a lovely surprise!

The room didn't have much natural light.

The room was clean and modern with a spacious terrace. It's a short 10-minute walk to the city center and 15 minutes to San Giuliano Beach. Breakfast was delicious, and Sandra offered fantastic tips.

We didn’t buy anything from the minibar because of the prices. The room was quite dark, but also nice and calm.

We liked the breakfast, especially the caponata, the cheese, the ham and all the fruits. If you like cakes for breakfast, there is a lot to choose from. The host is very welcoming and answers your questions on whats app really fast. The decor is beautifull.

Very clean and modern. Good location - only 10 minute walk from old town and 10 minute drive from Spiaggia di San Giuliano beach. Free parking on the next street as well was much appreciated. Sandra was brilliant, really good recommendations.
