I would like to draw your attention that the chair in the room wasn't safe to sit on, because it seemed it was going to give way any minute, and the shower doors, came off their hinges, everytime we stepped in it.Please take note.

The elevator was clanky and did not work smoothly. There was a common bathroom for 5 rooms. Each room occupied two people. I had to wait for the toilet when I wanted to use it. On occasion, I wet my pant waiting for the toilet.

I think a 3pm check in is a bit late and I did not like that you need to pay if you would like to check in earlier. In addition, it would be great to have shampoo and gel in the shower.

The check in is weird, had some problems with it. It’s basically a shared apartment complex, which of course has the shared bathroom (1) with about 10 people if not more. That wouldn’t even be a problem if the other people would take the others into consideration. Bathrooms are also getting cleaned every morning appareantly (did not look like it). You also depend on the guests if you’re gonna have to climb up to the 7th floor or if you can actually take the elevator, since it’s an old elevator with doors happened to us 2 times out of 3.

Door knob was broken and they fixed it only after 5 days of our stay. Room doesn’t get cleaned during stay, which for us was a bit of a problem since we were there for 6 nights. But they did give us new clean towels after requesting it. Elevator is very old and didn’t work from time to time. There isn’t any free parking, but that is because it’s in the middle of center. There isn’t any kitchen which would make our stay a bit easier when it comes to breakfast.

Sharing bathroom was not the best experience - people who stayed at the same time each day left it pretty messy :( Maybe putting a note to keep it clean after yourself would be a good idea?

The best location that you can have - historical center is just across the street, together with pier and fish market (recommend the plate with sea urchins and other seafood), 10-15min to central station from where you can get to Matera, Monopoli, Polignano a Mare or Alberobello - recommend all of them :) The room was spacious, in the fridge waited for us cold water which was super nice surprise after long trip and the heat wave. The AC worked perfectly. The contact with the owner was perfect, we got recommendations and felt that we have the support if needed. Thank you for an amazing stay! Will come back for sure as Bari is marvelous

Great location, easy to find and check in online. Room was really clean and confortable, silent. Shared bathroom also very clean and people are respectful of the time they use it. For the one with a car there is a big parking area in the direction of the old town just one block away !

The room is on the 7th Floor and the lifts were out of order during our stay. As a result I injured my back very badly carrying our heavy luggages up and down the many many stairs and it took two days to recover from the pain. When contacting the staff they insisted they only found out about the lifts that morning and would have let us know if they had known sooner instead of letting us know when we arrived at the property. However this couldn't be true because we booked the place at 3:40 pm the same day we checked in, so they already knew when we made the booking and didn't let us know until after we arrived later that evening. They also said the ads include the information the room is on the 7th floor, however I checked the listing on booking.com and wasn't able to find this information anywhere. Overall it would have been a pleasant stay if it weren't for the broken lift causing my injuries and their level of dishonesty.

The view was tó the opposite balcony . The room was not sunny at all, you had tó use lamp/artificial light to see good enough during the daytime as well. Lack of cutleries and plates. We got just one small coffeespoon. Carbon monoxid was coming ín from the balcony from our and neighbours 's boilers, so basically we could not open the window and could not use the balcony. The people from other rooms ín Barirooms were shouting and noisy , even during the night. 10/6 Rating on Booking 7.5

There was problem. I report about this problem: Dear Host, I hope this message finds you well. Unfortunately, I’m experiencing an issue with my current stay. The apartment above appears to be undergoing renovations, and the noise from hammers and drills starts as early as 7 a.m., making it impossible to rest or stay comfortably in the room. I kindly request that you provide me with another room as soon as possible. I understand that the actions of your neighbors are beyond your control, but I trust that, especially during the low season, you might be able to find an alternative accommodation for me. Result: No refund. Pay your money to stay in the horrible conditions - hummers, drills from 7am. That’s not our problem.
