BariRooms is centrally located and was perfect for our stay. We could reach the city center and all the local spots in 10 a 10 minute walk. Bari overall is quite touristy, so would recommend booking restaraunts in advance !

Room 4 is very small. The shower cabin is also very small, there is no room to turn around inside, do not take a proper shower. The elevator in the building is very old and often does not work, keep that in mind if you have to go up to the 5th floor after walking around all day. The bed linen is worn out, as are the other appliances in the room. I am surprised by such a high rating, and i think it is overrated or at least for the double rooms we used . Otherwise, the staff is responsive, easy check-in, but the amenities in the room do not match the high rating. Overall, I recommend it, but with an average rating.

The rooms are located near the train station and within walking distance of the center.

First time getting in the apartment you'll get the information on your phone, so older generation might find it difficult, but after that you get the keys at the room door. We got room#2 and it had a small step inside the room which you have to watch out for if you're a night time bathroom user for example. The sink had a bad smell, so we had to cover with a cup for the night. There's a boiler tank on the balcony of this room that has a loud noise at night, so if you're a light sleeper better get ear plugs. The beds are very uncomfortable, you feel like you get swallowed in.

Really close to train/bus station and good distance from the old town area. Easy check in at the office which is very close to the apartment. Stores and Coffee shops nearby. The elevator is very small but working well. Cleaning is very nice, sheets and towels were ok. For 3 person is good for a short stay.

At the check-in we found wet dirty towels on top of the shower which was also leaking water on the ground. We were also severly bitten by bed bugs which we thought were mosquito bites at first, but the doctors confirmed these were caused by bed bugs. Even if you select a preferred appartment at this site, at the gallery you will find pictures of two different appartments, so you don’t really know which one you are booking.

Room 4 had only a sliding door to enter with no handle or closure mechanism other than locking the door. This guaranteed minimal privacy. The shower head was mouldy and there was no holder for the toilet paper, it was sitting on the bidet hose when we arrived. the lights in the living room did not work and the bed was extremely uncomfortable. The coffee machine didn’t work. The building itself was old and not well kept. We would not stay here again or recommend this to anyone.

There were couple of colder, rainy days, and the AC, for some reasons, didn't work on heating. But there were enough blankets so it didn't bother us too much.

The room is really good located, 15/20 min from almost every we needed (train station, Bari vecchia) and very clean! For me two most important things! It's not too big, but has absolutely everything you need. The communication was really good, stuff helpful! I recommend!

The sheet, there was no cover for the mattress. In addition, I didn't like the blankets because they were dirty/old with a lot of dust.

I liked the location. Close to the train station, close to the center. The receptionists were very nice for the check in.

Overall there was no dislikes but if you arrive by car take in consideration that parking is very tricky in Bari center

The check in is pretty easy and our location was pretty central next to most important parts of the city. The train station is close and its a short walk to old town too. Clean and well utilated with good Wifi.

We got a room that was shown in the latest photos on Booking, which we hadn’t seen before. Based on the initial photos, we thought the hotel was fine. However, upon arrival, we were checked into a room with sliding bolt doors and no handles. Despite our requests, we were not moved to another room, as the staff insisted that all rooms were of the same standard. Yet, other rooms had a proper bathroom, without a shower in the living area. Additionally, there was mold on the walls, and it was difficult to sleep at night because there was a card slot (probably for electricity) near the door that emitted a strong blue light, which couldn’t be turned off. The takeaway from this stay is to check EVERY single room photo uploaded on Booking before booking anything.

The hotel was close to the city center.

Bari-Carulli is very good located, close to the main attractions, seaside and train station (walking distance) . Many shops and cafés around. Friendly, helpful and skilled staff. Thanks for the food recommendation, Focaccia at Il Focacciaro was just amazing. Easy check in and good communication.

Quite tricky to park a car nearby as roads were always full, but we managed park within walking distance
