The plugs are too close to the bed and we had difficulty in inserting are charges.

The location is very closed the atraction areas. The room is clean and tidy. Carmine is very frendly and helpful.

The room was a bit dark as it was overlooking internal courtyard. The bed really needs a new mattress, the current one is a complete disaster (you fall into it deep the moment you seat or lay down on it) The bathroom has all you need, but the shower is super tiny. For me it wasn’t an issue but for a big tall guy it could be challenging not to stuck in it. There was no light in the common areas in the building so when you get back home after dawn it’s uncomfortable. Also mind the stairs, you’ll have to move your luggage up and down to the second floor and the staircase is although wide but steep. But it’s common for Florence.

Great location right in the heart of Florence with 5 to 10 mins walk to all the key attractions and museums. Nice and Responsive host.

Had to wait outside the door and call host to get buzzed into the property, thankfully we had a data plan and could call via WhatsApp, otherwise would have been tricky. Instructions to get into the place were otherwise good. The shower was very slow to drain and flooded the floor if you took more than 10 mins, and the couch in the living room seemed broken? Not comfortable to sit on.

Really great location! We stayed in the room with attached bathroom, pictures were very accurate. The room was very spacious and had everything we needed. There were people staying in the other room but they were very quiet. Nice to have a kitchen and fridge. Very unique building and felt like we were locals! Host was quick to respond to questions. Need to leave euros in cash for the city tax when you leave.

it didn’t have air-conditioning in the room it only has a ceiling fan and it was super hot in the room. Also the bathroom was always super hot.

It was hot in the apartment, room nr 1 has no aircon only in the shared kitchen. The room was quite small and the mattress has a hole in it.

It was close to the city centre. The apartment is very well equipped. The owner is quick to reply.

The fact that there were two separate rooms for rent in one apartment makes it quite likely you’ll have noisy neighbours, just as we did.

A good hotel in a great location - within walking distance from the main square. A building where the apartment was located was stunning! Great value for money in Florence.

The heating in the room was not enough for me. There is a central heating, but the heating panel in the room is too small for her size. Also in the bathroom the shower cabin is really tiny. I didn't like that we were told to make online check-in when we arrived, because it is hard to be done at the phone. It will be easier to be done on PC or laptop in prior. It is very annoying that you cannot pay the city tax by card, only cash is possible.

The best is the location. It is just fantastic. The room is big and everywhere is very clean. There is a shared dining room with well equipped kitchen which is great.

There is no elevator.

Bargello Guest House is walking distance for Duamo square. You can use kitchen if you need. The room is well-designed and comfortable. Also the room and bathroom is clean, it is important for me. I recommend there.

The bed was quite uncomfortable, I had back pain the day after. Moreover, there was just one little blanket. Besides that, the bedroom was great.

The check-in was really good. The host sent us all the details and even a video to do the check-in. The apartment was way bigger than I expected, it also had a huge kitchen and a big bathroom. All the rooms were nice and clean. The biggest benefit was the location of this apartment, just 5 minutes walking from the Cathedral.

I don’t think it would work well if you only rented one of the rooms. There were only two chairs in the kitchen and the sofa needs to be replaced.

It was not a problem for us but room was on the second floor and no elevator. It might be diffucult for the ones with heavy luggages.

Room was clean and comfortable. There was a blanket, iron and hair dryer at the closet. Towels are provided. Staff was very kind. Free coffee at the kitchen was a plus.

there were no lamp in the corridors and stairs, so we had to use a torch on our phone to light the way up. the climb up to the apartment may be inconvenient for those travelling with big luggage but as I travel lightly with small suitcase, it was not a problem.

located in a strategic street and there are many things to do around the guest house. a clear instruction about check-in was provided on the day and everything went smoothly from me. I have read reviews about the property and therefore managed my expectations accordingly. We chose the room with a private bathroom, allowing more privacy. But we did not encounter other people throughout our stay even when we use the shared kitchen. a complete amenities was available, including iron and hairdryer.

We stayed in a room with private external bathroom which was okay (but you do have to cross kitchen and living room to get to the bathroom that is essentially only yours). The biggest drawback for our room was a funky smell that was constantly there. We kept our window opened while we were there. The comforter had stains and the overall cleaning state was mediocre. Totally understandable that nothing can be super clean, but for the nightly rate, there is definitely room for improvement (i.e. may be for future stays provide regular black tea vs chamomile that is very taste specific)

The location is the biggest bonus to stay at this guest house. It was very central and easy to get to from all major attractions and sites.
