Great property with a beautiful view and also good breakfast! I would recommend having a scooter or car because the bus services don’t start very early and if you don’t like walking it could be a quite a surprise.

I had booked a room with a sea view. What I got was a room at the back of the hotel with an excuse for a terrace which just about held a table and chairs - overlooking the road with no sea in sight! I was told that this was an upgrade to a deluxe room but it was certainly not what I wanted. So while I would happily visit again, the next time I would make it clear from the beginning that the sea view was non-negotiable. To be honest, it took the edge of my weekend treat to me.

A delightful little hotel, clean and spacious. The bar was an added bonus! The restaurant on site provided delicious meals which I was able to eat out on the terrace overlooking the sea. It was a lovely experience. The area was quiet, far enough away to escape the madness of the Amalfi coast, but close enough to take advantage of it.

Everything was just perfect.

Great breakfast, salty and sweet and frutis. Loved the ricotta and the croissaints. There were exrtra sweets and the toast was very good, as well. Quite generous for 2 persons.

Room and view were excellent. Staff were exceptionally accommodating and breakfast was great. I plan on booking again whenever I’m coming to the Amalfi coast.

Having to walk up and down the hill every morning to go to the hotel. Next time I would stay in the hotel and not the apartments.

The staff, specifically Maria and Simone were amazing. Very knowledgeable, helpful, fun and engaging. I received prompt replies to all my texts. Without them , my girlfriends and I would have been lost. Thank you so much ladies.

We had the best time at this beautiful family run hotel. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. From Fernando’s special breakfast service to the lovely Maria and Simona on reception and the cheerful ladies who kept our room spotless. The food was delicious and breakfast was tasty, fresh and a great choice. I really appreciated the fact the hotel had soy milk as an option and a vegan tasting menu. It was super hot when we stayed, but the air con in our room was amazing! We were always cool and comfortable. Furore is a fantastic base for visiting the Amalphi coast, close to all the main villages but out of the main tourist drag. If you are looking for a friendly comfortable spotless hotel the Albergo Diffuso is a great choice.

The property does not have a good connection with public transportation, the bus usually come once in every two hours, and it stops at 6 PM take it to consideration if you’re not going with a Car.

The property was renovated. It had a great views. The staff was very nice.

the location is about 5-6 kms from Amalfi coast. so, unless you rent a car with the help of the folks in the hotel or drive yourself, its a bit of an issue. although, there’s a public bus (about 10 times a day) stopping right infront of the hotel, its not reliable since bus which are full dont stop.

nothing not to like about the property. The bus service is sometimes difficult but Simona and Maria helped us work out the best way to use the local private driver service.

We were entranced by the stunning views set high above the sea. Then we settled into the charming apartment with simple and stylish decor. To top it off a first class restaurant and superlative personal attention especially Simona and Maria who went out of their way to make us welcome. And Fernando makes the best coffee in Italy as far as we are concerned.

The room was in an outhouse quite far away from the hotel and right on the main road.You heard the blaring horns of the busses constantly… And basically I like the idea of leaving your orders for breakfast the evening before. But then some of the orders couldn‘t be delivered in the morning ( bread rolls for example). And warm egg dishes( like scrambled eggs) would only be made at extra cost…

Great view from the terrace, breakfast was good and the service impeccable . Very nice and helpful people!And I liked the old Volkswagen Bus in front of the door.

Thankfully, I've never been to prison but, imagine that if I had, the mattress would be akin to that of Albergo Diffuso Bacco Furore. The room was super-basic and was located a five-minute walk from the rest of the hotel, which I found a bit odd, and wasn't aware of before arriving.

The hotel restaurant and terrace offer great views. The breakfast staff were very friendly, and there was a good choice of food on offer.

False representation of the hotel online. At no point were we made aware that our room was a km away from the hotel on a separate road in a residential block of flats?!!! When we confronted the staff on this and tried to resolve the issue - we were shouted at. We were meant to stay for 5 nights but left and changed our flight to leave after 3 nights stay. We met others that stayed in the apartment block that had no idea that they had booked to stay in a room away from the hotel. It was shocking to say the least. Not just the room but the way we were treated by the manager and staff being shouted at for complaining. Not one website that this hotel is featured on reflects this building block of flats and mentions the distance between the rooms and hotel and it being a km away!! I can’t begin to sum up how disappointing the whole experience was bad the way in which we were treated. I would not recommend staying here at all. I have added photos of where we stayed vs what you see online. There is no branded signs on this apartment block mentioning it’s part of the hotel. We stayed next to a family with a dog barking and children. It was noisy, the one mattress was old and springs out, other customers of hotel smoking on the terrace while you were eating, soap dispenser in bathroom not working…but the main issue was the location of our bedroom which is not part of the hotel. We had to walk flights of stairs through bramble and Bush. I was very perplexed as to how the hotel manager behaved when we complained and it just made the whole experience horrendous! I have attached photos of the apartment block and stair case we had to climb every day to get to hotel on a very busy narrow road to get to for breakfast so as to show a true representation of what you paying for!
