How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We had some trouble with our AC not working on the second floor, which made for a rough first night. They sent someone out our second day and the issue was fixed so I really can't complain. The apartments were a little smaller than we were expecting, but still plenty of room for everyone.
The valet parking service was fantastic, made everything so much easier. The staff was lovely, responsive and allowed us to store our luggage after check out. The location was perfect, right in the heart of Verona, central to everything.

There was some initial confusion about which apartment we were staying in, we were taken to one building and after dragging all our luggage in the afternoon heat, we were told that was not our apartment and had to go elsewhere!

The sheets. Need to put angular sheet for the bed as every morning we woke up with the sheets off.
The apartment was very big and clean. The location is great! Nearby to everything. We come to Verona every year. Surely we will stay here again.

Odd layout of the single bathroom. The bathtub shower needed service (shower head holder was broken)
Excellent location, good air conditioning, well-informed space with light switches labeled. Clean, quiet and comfortable. The room was on the second floor, which was just one course of stairs or a small elevator. The washing machine was broken, and the front desk delightfully made it right!

The fact that we had to go home!😆
Lovely room equipped with all we needed. Cleaners came every day and were very comfortable. Staff were polite and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. Close to all shops and amenities, I would definitely recommend this place

Property is advertised as 3 bathrooms including a bath, but is actually 2 bedrooms with ensuites, no bath, 3rd bedroom, and a 3rd separate toilet. The couple in 3rd bedroom had to walk through another bedroom to shower. Beds very hard. Also a lot of street noise overnight, and we stayed midweek.
Large, luxurious apartment on first floor with lift. Located close to restaurants and the arena. Two very large bedrooms, well equipped kitchen, washing machine and dryer, smaller 3rd bedroom.

The parking situation is complicated. Since this is not a hotel the guests can't drive in to the old town. We had to find the valet outside the city and leave our car there and shuttle to the accommodation. It's fine but they need half an hour notice, so keep that in mind.
Lovely neighbourhood, nice and clean house, cute and well decorated room inside. Comfortable bed, well insulated windows so the crowds on the street don't bother you.
