Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

The accommodation offers peace, nature, great breakfast and the friendliness of the hosts. It is located near a train station, from where you can travel to Treviso and Venice, which turned out to be a great option when traveling with small children who are fascinated by trains. It is also a practical way to take day trips in general.

PolandA truly special place, run by truly special people. A location full of soul and history. Everything was very clean and smelled wonderful. Breakfasts were delicious and thoughtfully prepared. We felt like we were visiting family. The train station is just a short walk away, and it's also within 30 min walking distance of the Ippodromo S. Artemio in Treviso for concerts. The place exceeded our expectations — absolutely beautiful! Highly recommended to everyone. There are several entrances to the property, and Google Maps may lead you to the back gate, but it’s not an issue at all. The hosts are always ready to help and offer great advice on what to see and where to eat. Simply wonderful!

MaltaI have been staying in B&Bs and other accomodations while travelling solo for around 13 years. Some of the hosts are really nice and they go that extra mile to give you a warm welcome. However, I can say that through all these years I can say that the hospitality of Eleonora and Luca is the best! They are two super friendly and kind hosts who really made me feel very welcome and they were very helpful. B&B Villa Gradenigo is a very charming property. It is a historical villa. I stayed in the room in the attic which is very large and it also has a large bathroom with everything I need. The whole property was super warm as it is adequately heated. The bed has a nice solid mattress and nice warm bedding. The only thing I would change in the room is the tv which is a bit small. However I used the tv just a little bit in the evening as during the day I was out and about. This B&B is comveniently located exactly next to the train station of Lancenigo and despite that it is still a quiet area surrounded by trees. This prime location is just 6 minutes away by train to Treviso Centrale. It is also close to Venezia Santa Lucia and Mestre, and also places like Conegliano. Therefore, by staying at this B&B you can get to a number of places in the Veneto region very easily. Moreover, the B&B is pretty much next door to Palaverde, which is why I chose this accomodation in the first place as I watch my two favourite volleyball teams. The whole place is super clean despite being a large property. Moreover, the breakfast is very plentiful. I especially loved the pistacchio spread. I will definitely book again at this place in the near future. Thanks so much Luca and Eleonora!

United StatesA tree-lined pathway welcomes you to a noble sixteenth-century Venetian Country House. Villa Gradeniga, a place of historical significance, is not just a place to stay but a treasure chest of culture handed down through generations. The house's spaces reflect the reality of stories that arise in the courteous tale of Mr. Luca, who walks history with steps that range in the long line of time and space, making the welcome a grateful event. With its unique essence, the beautiful surrounding park invites you to stroll through its lovely gardens. The rooms and bathrooms at Villa Gradeniga are not just comfortable, they are spotless, providing a peaceful and pleasant atmosphere to end your day. After enjoying a breakfast that showcases Mrs. Eleonora's hospitality, you'll feel inspired by the beauty around you and ready to explore a medieval treasure like Treviso.

United KingdomEleonora was a great hostess at a lovely property in a great rural location. It was easy to get to by train, just 2 mins walk from the station. Lancenigo is only 8 mins from Treviso by train. Eleonora wanted everything to be right for my stay and that makes all the difference. The weather allowed breakfast to be enjoyed outside. The beautiful building was very peaceful to stay in and I hope to stay there again and try the local wine and prosecco next time.

United KingdomMy stay was absolutely wonderful
When I arrived at the villa, there was a cloudburst and lightning was thundering, and beautiful piano music was coming from inside the villa. It turned out that it was played by maestro Giorgio Sini, who resides here, and the hosts welcomed me with the utmost care. It felt like a grand imperial home with very noticeable touches of art and knowledge. I spent a few days in a fantastic climate and natural surroundings. During breakfast, Maestro Sini treated me to Chopin's music playing live. It was wonderful and exciting! The breakfast was delicious, prepared with passion and served with great skill

TaiwanThe villa is tremendous huge with many cultural feature in it, the hosts are super polite and they even lend me bike for free. Breakfast is in giant quantity and you can have it in front of the huge yard it’s even a forest. The price is cheap, you can only live in super small room in tourist area with super high price. This villa is amazing if you love culture and can enjoy solitude in countryside area.

Though we saw the Villa photos & knew the location, everything was a nice surprise! The Villa is surrounded by a very nice, well maintained garden where the hosts grow their veggies and fruits which were offered for breakfast! It’s just perfect to chill out or play with kids. The train station is 5mins on foot which makes is a convenient location for visiting Venice (it takes approx.50 minutes to reach the Venice central train station). Eleonora, the host, was truly hospitable and shared great recommendations for visiting Venice and enjoying the Lancenigo area (incl. dining suggestions, vineyards visiting, sightseeing). The attic room is huge and made our family stay very comfortable.
