There was no extra plug to charge our phones, so had to unplug the bedside table lamp. Was a bit unconvenient to only use the main lamp which you can only turn off by the door.

The size of the room is big comfortable. Really liked the windows with the double shade.

Beds were extremely uncomfortable because of really hard mattress and pillow. Moreover, building is quite sound-permeable, so if you sleep and someone get back to their room - you will hear locking door and etc.

Staff was great and really pleasant, also the opportunity to leave the luggage in lobby after check out is a big favour, if you have later flight.

Really great room for a solo traveler! It was very clean and tidy! The location was difficult to find and I was given a key that would not work. After I told them this they switched it for me right away. They cleaned my room for me and restocked coffee too!

The Cittadella is not a B&B, but a guest house, with no breakfast included.

Upon entering, the room smelled too strong of perfume (not a bad smell, just too strong). The room was a bit cold on the first night. After that, the host showed me how to turn on the heating, but I still felt it could have been better.

The room looks exactly like in the photos. You have a mini fridge and a kettle in the room, which were very useful. The location, although not in the city center, was close to the train station. The area is quiet and I felt safe. I walked everywhere. The host was very nice and receptive to every inquiry I had.

For its price I thought that it was pretty good value and I would recommend the location and the place. I went and stayed at a place closer to the Duomo after I spent my one night there and that had its upside but I thought that this position allowed a visitor to gain a more original Florentine experience. I would stay there again.

I booked the room at short notice and was able to get into Florence later at night. There was some confusion with notification between myself and the management but we managed to meet and I was shown my room. I was pleasantly surprised at the size and cleanliness. It is in a part of the city that is not as commonly used by tourists and I liked that aspect of the position. I went to the Rusty Bar and has a few beers after I arrived later in the evening and it was also very pleasant and the host was also very nice. I enjoyed that. It is also opposite a kebab shop and that was also OK.

The bathroom needs a freshing up. Paint peeling and smelled like pee. I was only here less than 24hrs so it was fine for what I needed. I don’t like they asked to have me rate it a 10 without asking me about the stay.

It was close the bus station. The room was as described and I was able to leave my bag before check in.

Great location if you're traveling by train. Short walk to all the sites and with stores and restaurants down the road. Quiet area and a very interesting vintage elevator that takes you to the property.

The property is close to the tram, essentially right outside the door. This can pose a problem if you are a light sleeper as they run till midnight and start again at 5.am. Shower isn’t the greatest but does the job.

Check in was smooth and the host was polite and helpful. The room was very clean and well presented. The property is centrally located. Far enough away from the centre but close enough to walk to all amenities including the train station and where the tour buses a caught, 5-10 mins walk. The beds were comfortable and a fridge,kettle and hairdryer were provided.

Sometimes the bathroom had a sewage smell, however if the window was open it will go away.

The room was spacious and the private balcony was definitely a plus. All the facilities worked well such as aircon and mini fridge Location is good not too far from centre, near the station and tram also buses are available. The staff was very attentive and welcoming.

The area and the building is quiet but you might get some noise from the other rooms.

The staff Is really helpful and always available also for last minute requests. The location is strategic if you want to stay close to the station and have very little time to explore the city. The room is small but comfortable and well cleaned and has everything you need. The balcony and A/C is a plus. Good value for the money.
