The stay is completely without staff...you have to self check in and find your room. if you need something....there is no one who can help you. If suppose your code doesn't work then there is no way to get in. You can't store luggage after checking out. Although there is one paid facility of luggage storage they offer which will cost you 5€ per bag but that is only available during week days between 9am to 7pm which can be a problem with solo travellers.

The rooms are excellent and the beds are comfortable to sleep but the rooms doors do not close properly.

Bathroom/ toilet facilities in the rooms means much more noise and disturbance during the night. Would be good to have a sign asking for quiet in the bedrooms after 11pm latest. On my night one occupant had to be asked to stop loud telephone conversation at 1130pm. The same occupant from 5-6am repeatedly unzipped/ zipped his case/ was in and out of the bathroom constantly, opening/ closing the loud sliding doors! Air conditioning kept the rooms very cold at night. Kitchen barely adequate even for one night stays.

Good location in quiet area of Bari, with easy walking to station, port and historic centre. Modern entry system that takes a little time to work out but very effective/ keyless. Comfortable beds.

super user unfriendly check in. I didn't get the link for opening the big door and apmost ended up pn the streat that night. I called the emergency phone number tlbut the machine answered that they are not available until monday?! thank good another tourist helped me get in. In the end it was my mistake that I didn't pay the tourist tax online but it was really not clear from their instructions. It is a good hostel, but bad management. Even if it is my mistake you have to be there to help me when I call you.

The room is quite old and the door is broken and can’t be closed. The front door also doesn’t work well and you can clearly hear people’s talking.

The location is great and the place looks very charming although you can’t access it in without a phone, so if something happens there’s no keys. Also the beds are very close to each other which can be a bit uncomfortable.

I lost my passport and called to say it may still be in the hotel room but the staff never even called me back. I found my passport elsewhere in the end but would have appreciated them treating the issue of a lost passport more seriously.

The check-in was horrible and took about 1 hour. Our flight had 2 hours delay, so we could not reach our final destination (CD Romanello, Barletta) so we booked less 2 hours this self check-in room befor our arrival. The confirmation was automatic, we made the self chekc-in, but the digital keys didn't work. We were lucky, because the gate was open, and could enter to the stairwell, but not into the apartment ant to the room. We got the following message: You can't open this apartment now error message. We wrote to the host via WhatsApp, called the numbers on the door but nobody answered. After that we found an emergency number and they allowed to enter in a few minutes.. ///Warning to Booking.com users: In the meantime, our booked and pre-paid accommodation for 3 nights in Barletta was canceled (CD Romanello (Mura S Cataldo)) on the grounds that we did not show up and the check-in on the next and third day was also refused, on the grounds that no one will be there to hand over the keys, although it is possible to book again for the days for which our paid but canceled accommodation was. So they try to sell to someone else what we paid...///

They are correct and resolved the technical problem (not confirmed and allow ASAP a paid booking). But I emphasize again: they are correct and you get a well-equipped, clean room suitable for rest and sleep. It is true that the rooms are not soundproofed, so if you are bothered by the noise coming from the corridor or the water flowing down the sewage pipe, do not book here!

- The noise outside at night/early in the morning - although the area seems to be not too busy, the loud noises from mopeds/scooters and garbage truck can wake you up (and the earplugs do not help) - of course it’s not property’s fault, but light sleepers should keep that in mind anyway. - the bathroom could have been a bit cleaner (there were some mould stains in the shower corner) - the hair dryer that was in the room did not fit in any of the power sockets :D luckily there was one power adapter that the mini fridge was plugged in, so I used that one. I could not find any spare ones, so it would be nice to have that.

The location was perfect - the old town, central station an even the beach are within walking distance. The bed was surprisingly comfortable! The check in process was easy and the no key system was very convenient - we didn’t have to worry about losing any keys, because you have to only use your phone to get into the building/room.

The toilet makes a loud noise every now and then. I had to sleep with earplugs. It is freezing cold and there was no blankets. There is an air conditioner that doesn't work at all, it doesn't even start.

The air conditioner in the room did not provide enough heat. My friend and I were a little cold at night, and the hot water in the bathroom only lasts 5 minutes.

The location is very nice, close to the beach and the center. It's a short walk. Also, we did not have any problems with communication, and if there was a problem, they responded immediately.

I wish there was a little table and 2 chairs in the room. Also a microwave in the kitchen area. The pillows for the bed were very hard and too high for a petite person. A set of soft pillows would be great.

The woman coming every morning to fix up the room was great. It is in a good location and has a small area to cook a simple meal. They will do your wash for you in the main location near the station for a fee. They try to accommodate when possible.

Vikey system for self check in too complicated. You need to have mobile data to enter the building/apt/room... No in room safe for lap top/valuables... Might be a bit too pricey for Bari for basic accommodation.

We stayed 8 nights. Central location, 15 minute walk to Centrale station and Old town. Fairly clean. Very good wifi. Decent communication with hosts. Fairly quiet. Daily cleaning around 9:30am.

Very easy to access the room, everything went smoothly. Very kind people, answering to all my questions before I arrived. The room was clean and spacious. All equipments needed are provided and there is also a coffee machine in the apartment.

The check in process was working but kept us doubtful till the last moment. We tried several times till we understood how to open the door. The sink and toilet were not discharging properly. Probably some plumbing maintenance should be done more often.

The AC is old and makes weird sounds, walls are thin so you can hear everyone in other rooms + outside, price could be lower for september compared to what they offer. Bathroom could use some renovation, toilet seat kept falling off.

I had weak internet connection with my phone so this electronic lock was pretty annoying. Called the owner and he helped instantly, theb you get the key and just have to write somewhere the code for the doors and you dont need phone anymore
