Clean, great location, friendly host, and great breakfast. Also a great value.

The staff was very proactive and helpful which was huge help given the complexity of Siena driving. Great location just minutes away from everything.

Close enough to the center of the city but far enough for peace and quiet

Room was large, comfortable, and had a great view. Location was at the top of a hill and a short walk to Il Campo and Sienna Cathedral. Even had small fridge and blow dryer. AC was a must for Siena in July. A variety for breakfast--hard boiled eggs, meats, brioche, and more. Staff great! Sofia was very welcoming, kind, and professional. She assisted me when I needed help, especially with a rental car. Many thanks!

It has stairs which was fine for me, but don't stay if you can't do stairs.

The bed was super soft, everything was perfectly clean and the owner was very kind!

The Location is the best. We enjoyed the stay at Roberto’s B&B. He was super helpful and provided us with all the information & dinner recommendations as well as nice view points. We were traveling by car and he suggested options for parking (paid or free). Even though you cannot park next to the property because it’s located inside the citadelle, Roberto helped us access the area for drop off & pick up pf the luggage by car. Everything went on smoothly. He was also present at breakfast time to ensure we have everything we needed.

Our room was a bit small but we haven’t actually spent time in the room except for sleeping time.

The bed was too soft for me.

Excellent air conditioning! Tidily arranged bed with towels and bathroom slippers. Bathroom was clean and tidy, with a great showerhead to clean holiday grime. The bed was very comfy and the room was relatively quiet.

There are a lot of stairs! However, the apartment was on the top floor of a narrow building on a hill in Siena - stairs are to be expected. Roberto helped us with our bags and made the stairs much easier.

The location is indeed very convenient. We left the car down the city, outside the center area and then we walked to the accomodation (around 20-30 min, mainly climbing the hill), we had just backpacks so it was pretty ok, but it;s not at all a good idea to try to walk with big luggages. After we arrived, it was easy, as the main attractions were close by and the streets in the center ar pretty flat. Siena is a beautiful city, it really worth visiting it, just please consider you need a very good physical condition as it's a lot to climb. Also a nice view from the apartment.

We were very dissapointed of the beds, our room had 2 folding beds with very soft mattresses. It was that soft, that the mattress couldn't sustain my wight (and I am 60 kg). I was sinking into it. And when we told Roberto, he was so nice trying to bring another bed (also a folding one), but hopefully with a better mattress. For the money we paid, I thought it's a joke, I just wanted a normal bed to sleep on. Finally, he offered a different room with a double bed (a pretty normal one) with a better mattress (not perfect but better). The shower was so small that I had to take shower with the doors open, if I would close it it would have been impossible to really move... Breakfast basic...

Great B&B experience to stay here. The room was studio-sized, i.e. just a simple room and a rest room. The owner, Roberto, is friendly and helpful and made a really nice breakfast. The location in Siena was perfect.

The room and all facilities are top notch! It is well kept, updated, and clean. Breakfast is good and offers variety. The location is a few minutes walk to the center of Siena, making it convenient while also in a quiet neighborhood. The view from my room is spectacular, as it is atop a hill. The bed and pillows are super comfortable! I felt well attended to during my stay.

Nothing - I am grateful I chose B&B San Francesco. I guess it would have been nicer if I could have served my own coffee, as employees insisted on making it for me, despite the machine being simple to use.
