Nothing bad can be said about B&B Porto del Bivio

Very responsive and kind hosts, friendly dogs. The stay was homely and set in a peaceful area close to nature. They couldn't be more accommodating, relaxed, and understanding, and we will definitely stay again. It feels like a home away from home!♥️

The shower was a little bit dirty.

I think the B&B is a little overpriced but Giorgio the host was awesome. He was very helpful and nice. The breakfast was simply, but delicious. In overalls the accommodation was great.

The house was very nice, with tasteful furniture and equipment and a cozy garden and terrace. Our room was large and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast and coffee in the morning were just great! We really enjoyed eating outside in the garden. The owners are kind and friendly people, we felt very welcome. We would definitely love to come back again!

A little more soundproofing between rooms for the TV - that was a little loud, but besides that you are in a beautiful home, with a garden in a central location!

Frederica and Giorgio were excellent hosts - there to greet us, help, offer a snack/coffee or give ideas on where to go. They happily made reservations for dinner and engaged in wonderful conversations. The Bed and Breakfast has a welcome unique niche that is to be appreciated - it is to build community, enjoy conversations, and yet still have the privacy of your own room.

This is a really special & cosy place to stay, with super friendly owners making you feel at home :-) The rooms are nicely equipped with a "creative touch" (like everywhere in the house and garden) and everything is absolutely clean. The delicious breakfast was served in the garden and there could not be a better start into a new (vacation)day. We also liked the locoation of the B&B as there are only few minutes to the sea (with very good restaurants) and to the beginning of the Sentiero Rilke.

There is a switch in the toilet that should not be touched. I accidentally touched it, and the water in the toilet overflowed. Sorry about that. Better ask when you check in.

Close to highway. Only an hour and a half drive from Mestre train station. Easy access to Miramar Castle and Trieste. Nature is rich and there are cute dogs. The brother and sister owners are kind. The parking lot is wide and easy to park. There is a large communal refrigerator for guests.

Frederica and Giorgio were marvellous hosts. Frederica met us with her motor scooter at the gate of Duino Castle to show us the way to Porto del Bivio. After we had arrived and settled in, she gave us a refreshing aperitif to enjoy in the shady garden. She suggested an excellent trattoria for our evening meal. Our room was large, spotlessly clean, air conditioned, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was delicious, and Giorgio made us scrumptious scrambled eggs. Highly recommend Porto del Biblio.

Unfortunately there were people in the room next door that came back at 2/3 AM and I could easily hear them in the hallway and stairs. Not the property's fault, but take into consideration the possibility of hearing noises from the other rooms if you come here.

The owners Federica and Giorgio are hospitable people that make you feel at ease. And even their two dogs are lovely. The breakfast was sweet and abundant, the room was very nice, big and with window + air condition air if needed. Perfect location as well to start your walk towards the Castles of Duino and see the gorgeous views from there.

Nothing, everything was perfect!

The breakfast was very good, thr house is cosy and very clean, most of all the hospitality of Federica and Giorgo is amazing, they are great personalities and I would always come bach for both relaxing and exciting holidays.

We were four of us in one bedroom which was a little bit small and the bathroom was a little bit strange with its glass wall... we found this accommodation a little bit overpriced.

Nice accommodation close to the beach (the beach itself is not exceptional...) with very generous breakfast which is served in the garden of the house. The hosts are kind and helpful.

**Complaint:** During our stay in the apartment, the breakfast selection and the quality of the food provided were extremely disappointing. If you're expecting oatmeal and fresh fruit, forget it. Breakfast consisted of a croissant, jam, and butter. You have to ask for anything else, as it won't be offered to you. And, of course, you have to hope that they understood you. The night before our departure, I specifically requested that breakfast be served by 7:30 AM at the latest, with four boiled eggs, ham, and butter. This was confirmed with both a verbal agreement and a nod. However, the next morning, what was agreed upon was not provided. Instead, we were left hungry because the host did not honor the arrangement. When I repeated my request and mentioned the number of eggs I wanted, he was surprised by the quantity (four eggs), which he expressed through facial expressions as if this was beyond his budget for two people. We waited more than 15 minutes for the eggs to be cooked and finally decided to leave without breakfast to avoid being late for our scheduled event. Additionally, there are no mosquito nets in the rooms, so be prepared for visits from insects if you keep the windows open. There is also a possibility that the owner might have company in the yard, which can be very noisy.

It was a bit close to a busy road, but the traffic noise did not bother me, because there was air conditioning, and I could shut the windows.

The property had a nice yard to relaxing. Our bedroom and bathroom were nicely appointed and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The hosts couldn’t have been nicer. Breakfast was delicious!
