We had a wonderful stay at B&B Villa Le Ortensie. The location is perfect, with a beautiful view of the lake, and the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, which made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. A lovely place that we will remember for a long time and would be happy to return to.

Amazing location with unforgettable view. We had a relaxing 4 day stay in the villa and enjoyed every minute we stayed there. Old stone build = AC not needed summertime. It’s away for the busy touristic areas in a calm village overseeing lake Como. Best is to rent a car to get there especially if you plan to get around the lake easily. Parking is available at reasonable additional cost.

Only criticism was the room did get hot and the bed wasn't the most comfortable, so sleep quality wasn't the best but it didn't spoil our stay. It is quite a walk from the parking, but that can be forgiven when you see the narrow, charming village streets.

We loved our stay, particularly the view from the hotel, honestly the best view of the lake we saw during our visit. The breakfast was nice and the dinner served one of the nights was great, fantastic home cooked lasagne. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Finally the charm and tranquillity of the hotel was amazing, you felt like whispering in the gardens. It was a valued break from the busy tourist towns.

Absolutely lovely views, nice quiet location. There's a restaurant in walking distance with the best meal I've ever eaten. All the staff were lovely and helped us with everything we needed. Would highly recommend.

Nothing we didn't like. It was fantastic! The stay would have been even more perfect if bath robes had been provided.

The two Hosts, the lovely Hiranthi & Sylvia could not have been more helpful. Absolutely first class service & nothing was too much trouble. Fantastic location with some truly outstanding views of Lake Como. Delightful 8 minute walk from the parking to the B&B through a very old, almost deserted at time, medieval village called Molina. Although Hiranthi will shuttle you with you luggage upon arrival & departure.

This is a gorgeous villa. With an excellent view overlooking Lake Como. You walk through a charming little village on your way to the property. Or you can have the staff bring you and your luggage up by car. The staff were gracious and friendly. A wonderful dinner the night we arrive. Good value on local selection of wine. The view from the patio was stunning. Coffee and a wonderful breakfast each morning. Only a short walk then 10 minute drive to the lake. Where we were able to rent a boat for a few hours. Enjoy the scenery from down on the water. Had dinner at one of the local restaurants in the village that evening. Lots of wonderful memories.

Hosts are wonderful, views are incredible, breakfasts on the patio overlooking Lake Como were a highlight. Walk through village of Molina up to property takes about 7-10 minutes and we thoroughly enjoyed that each day.

Having been there before, the parking instructions were a little confusing since we expected to park the same parking lot as before. As it turned out, there are designated parking spots for the guest of the hotel, it just wasn't clear. The ride up the hill in the tiny car was still the best part of the experience.

Great variety of fresh produce, eggs, and homemade breakfast cake. I have stayed at this hotel many years ago under another ownership. The hilltop views are still phenomenal. The new villa renovations made for a comfortable stay yet maintains the authenticity of this old romantic villa. I loved the new garden additions! This is a fantastic location for seclusion and a break from the touristy experience.
