Absolutely everything. Gianni is the most kind host and person who we have ever met on vacation. We had a last minute booking because our original booked accomodation wasn’t availaible. We had to think fast and find his apartment on the site. After we booked and paid we wrote him a message that we are near the apartment. He answered in a second and was there in 5 minutes. After that we had the best time. The apartment is clean, they bring fresh towels every other day and do their best to make us feel important. Gianni also offered to take us to the best beach nearby where we had an amazing day. We really glad to find this place and surely choose it next time. Thank you again and again!

Comfortable , clean, spacious. Had a big wardrobe to hang clothes. Had the most comfortable and coziest blankets . Bed and couch were very comfortable. Easy and quick check in and out. Gianni also helped with parking and we were able to get a spot nearby on street . (He also had an option for paid parking) great spot to walk to everything. Close to the domenico mudugno statue. Was able to walk a few minutes and watch the sunrise over the water.

My only problem was that the crockery was stacked on a rack and this results in some of the plates being chipped. There could be more hooks in the bathroom or bedroom

The apartment was very clean and in a great location. The bed was very comfortable and facilities were great. It’s in the best part of Polignano a mare and our host Gianni was lovely.

The location is excellent with both the sea and the centre only a couple of minutes' walk, yet very quiet at night for a good night sleep. The central station is approximately 10 minutes' walk and from here you can catch trains to many other locations such as Monopoli (5 min journey), Bari, Ostuni and many more. Near the station you can also catch a bus to Alberobello, approximately one hour journey.  The rooms and whole building are very well maintained and very secure.  The owner Gianni takes very good care of the building and its guests; he genuinely cares and would do anything to ensure they have a pleasant stay.  His customer service skills are exceptional,  he is always available to support with any enquiries and willing to go the extra mile. He replies within minutes and has an extensive knowledge of Polignano and surrounding towns as well as what these have to offer; I tried most of the restaurants he suggested and I was never disappointed. The boat tour suggested was the best! I have never before received the level of service Gianni has provided in similar accommodations and I would highly recommend Dimora Grottone. I am immensely grateful to Gianni and I am most definitely coming back. Thank you!

The rooms were spacious and equipped with all that we needed. The wrap-around balcony was fantastic and gave us a view of the sea on one side and the town on the other. Gianni, our host, was extremely friendly and helpful, greeting us upon our arrival. The kitchen was equipped with coffee maker, tea pot, dishes, pots and pans, and little sweets. Gianni gave us a map of Polignano and marked off nearby restaurants and sites. He is a great host and surely aims to please his guests.

No lift (if that is important for you) only stairs.

Everything was perfect. Immaculately clean self-catering apartment. Kind and welcoming staff. Washing machine available and host gave me liquid. The bedroom felt fit for a princess. Partial ocean views + city views and great to watch sunsets from the wrap-around balcony. Just one street back from ocean in a quiet area. Easy walking distance to all sites. 20min walk to port for boat tours. 15min walk to train station. Coffee machine and pods, kettle and tea included. 10min walk to grocery store.

Complete small apartment. Plenty of room for 3 adults. Free, easy street parking everywhere. Short walk to old town. Host was nice.

Location basicly in the center of Polignano. Even so, you can easlily come by car as there is a 10 Euro / day parking just steps away. Nice and clean rooms, location next to a beach and overall it offers everything you need. Very good cost/benefits ratio, best buy actually, owner extremely helpfull and supportive.

Such a great place to stay. Everything you need is there. The location is fantastic, so close to the beach and restaurants. The host is so helpful and nothing is too much. I will definitely be staying here again.

There was absolutely nothing.

Everything was soo close to the apartment, the host was very sweet and kind person that i have ever met 😍 and helped us for anything we need. Food, beach were also close by and very beautiful places and restaurants around, prime location. Definitely coming again and again and again!😍😍

We had some problems with the toilet leaking but the host let us know about it when we got there. it still would make a mess sometimes so we would just throw a towel on the floor to soak up the leak. Also, our room, though beautiful, was on the highest floor and there was no elevator so we would be out of breath by the time we got to our room. Haha The only real problem was when we had our luggage. Other than that, just taking a deep breath and we were fine haha

The host really is what made this experience super enjoyable. I’m extremely pleased with his customer service as he was very kind and helpful with everything, especially since we were a big group. I could not have survived with such a big group without his assistance. The property had all the essentials and was a close walk to the beach. It also had a washing machine which was great!

Fantastic stay! Very close to the historic center, the lungomare Domenico Modugno and its famous statue, wonderful sea view. Close to several restaurants and coffee shop for breakfast. I parked at the street at the low season in May, but there is a convenient paid parking around 200m from the place. Gianni – the owner – could not be a better host: reliable at checkin and checkout scheduled hours, helped with baggage, gave a lot of useful information and booked us a very nice boat tour. When we arrived there was a bottle of local wine, water and snacks. The apartment is nice, comfortable bed and pillows, nice TV. The living room and small kitchen are useful, with the minifridge and the nespresso machine, always full with capsules. It was impeccably clean, as they service it every other day and refresh the towels. A free washing machine at the building was also very useful. Bravo, Gianni, a stay to be proud of!
