Reception only open at limited times but not a real problem as give access if no one there. Would have liked to have left bags when checked out but couldn’t because had to leave keys.

I really enjoyed the old world charm of this hotel, truly from the medieval times it felt like to me. Staff were very friendly and accommodating and location was right in the middle of the walled city of Lucca.

Everything was great just the slider in the shower would come out, but an easy fix at some stage for the host.

There was no fridge because it had broken at some stage, but after negotiating with the reception she took one from the other room. Not a huge issue - unless you were staying in the other room I guess!

It is absolutely at the heart of Lucca. The main shopping street, the piazza dominated by tourist restaurants and the most expensive farmacia. It’s a sturdy walk from the train station especially if you are straight off the plane/train and your luggage is starting to feel like you’ve packed too much

Very nice and luxury looking place in the center of walled city of Lucca. Easy accessible by foot from the train station. For those travel by car there is a parking lot in front of the place on small square. Very quiet place in the ground floor in old building facing small square with church. My room was actually 2 room apartment. Main room with double bed was very comfortable. Nice thing in the place is a free standing bath tube in the room, fully functional of course. Except of that there is another room 2 steps up from the main room. and also full bathroom with toilet, bidet and corner shower. Entrance is via main gate of the building and via another door to the reception and from there to 3 separate rental units. Place update about your arrived beforehand, as the reception is not occupied 24/7. My room was equipped with electric kettle to make coffee, complimentary cookies and bottle of water. All together i had a very quite time here. Spent one night.

Nothing major, just a couple of suggestions—adding a light in the entrance corridor would be helpful, as it’s quite dark at night. Also, the electronic lock didn’t work during our stay, so we had to use the key each time, which was a bit inconvenient due to its awkward placement.

The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable—perfect for two people. The bathroom was also large, and the location right in the historic center was ideal for exploring. The host was extremely friendly and easy to communicate with.

Beautifully appointed, spacious, incredible location in the heart of beautiful Lucca. Authentic and magical apartment space. Such a great stay. The 4poster bed is class and comfortable, and the standalone bathtub a fab addition. The spare bedroom means the gaff would have been ideal for more than just the 2 of us.

The bad was very comfy and so beautiful, the ceilings are incredible. The staff were very easygoing and helpful. I was there in winter over Christmas and it was very cosy and warm. Big spacious room, shower very powerful and hot. Quiet and relaxing.

There was no main kitchen area or plates, cutlery, wine opener available. Otherwise, this was a great place.

This was a great find very near to the main amphitheater square. The hotel is on the first floor, so easy to arrive with luggage. I communicated with the staff via booking message and she was there to check me in. The room was spacious (way more than I needed, actually, ass there was a second smaller room attached and I was traveling solo). The gigantic roman style hot tub in the room was a surprise but it was fun! While there was a mini fridge in the room and a couple glasses and an electric kettle and coffee/tea, there was no central kitchen area where to obtain a plate, cutlery, or a wine opener - it would be nice if the staff provided that (even if only upon request).
