The drawbacks were stairs - we went about 3 floors up (I think) and the bathroom was outside the room.

We stayed one night in the house. The interior is nicely decorated in “magician” style. Our room had very homey feeling with antique style wardrobe, bed side drawer units, red chandelier and a massive red armchair in the corner. Mattress was very comfortable. The owner, Mariano, helped us with parking, showed us a good pizzeria, helped to carry our luggage upstairs and was very helpful throughout. We had robes, slippers,TV, air conditioner, 2 bottles of water in the room. Bathroom was private so the fact that it was outside the room really didn’t bother us; it was big, with lots of towels, shower caps, and everything else needed. During breakfast time the owner showed some amazing magic tricks (he is a professional magician). Overall we are very satisfied and want to thank him for hospitality and interesting experience we had.

Great experience! Very cozy and clean room with a comfortable bed and balcony. Everything you need was there. Very kind, open and helpful hosts. A magic show was offered with breakfast. :)

Our stay at Magic house was really special. Surrounded by great magicians from Houdini and David Copperfield to Harry Potter in our room and hosted by a true magician Mariano... was magical - everything - from warm welcome, cosy room and nice breakfast was great and we would recommend to anyone who still has a child inside. It is located in a quiet neighbourhood, but walking distance form the city centre, where you find restaurants, shops, bars...

I liked everything.

Everything it was like home... super kind hosts...as a solo traveller felt completely welcomed and safe. Lanterns and fairy lights on the balcony which is a joy for me. Cosy character room in the magician theme yet super tasteful with old features. Slept like a log. I was accommodated early for breakfast as I got a train to Lake Orta which was wonderful...and dropped off at the local station. I would highly recommend staying here. Jo from the Wirral. Xx

We absolutely loved all the small magical touches and collective pieces around, Mariano is so welcoming and helpful along with his son Josh. The best part was the morning when we enjoyed breakfast with a magic show - absolutely great stay. I also left my watch and Mariano posted it back to the UK next day - Thanks 😅

Perfect option if you have to take a flight from Malpensa airport, it takes 1h to get there by train and the place is about 15mn walk from the train station. The place is just wonderful and the attention of the host even more, she made sure that we had everything we needed and prepared a breakfast for us even though we had to leave early to catch a flight. The room is nice and comfortable. Highly recommended!

The flat is very well located in Novara, near the station and not far from the center as well. Biggest quality of the place : MARIANO, THE HOST. He was helpful, delightful and soooo nice to be with. The A/C in the room, and the large bathroom were a big plus. We will be back for sure !

I spent 4 nights in the area on business. I chose based on the location with respect to the station and where I had to go, combined with the price and reviews. It was a fabulous choice. Mariano was thoughtful but reserved and always exceeded my expectations. A magician for breakfast? What can I say... A magical stay.
