Beds are to much soft. There are no ceramic plates and cups and no knives, forks, spoons. There can be more kitchen equipment. And the breakfast was just symbolic.

It seemed as if the owners didn't want to have anything to do with their guests. I tried to pay my city tax to a person but the only time I saw someone was when they were showing someone else a room and as soon as they did they vanished. The city tax had to be left in a tray in the room. The check-in experience wasn't excellent, you had to call a number to get in and then work out getting your key which wasn't too difficult. As a solo traveller having some interactions makes you feel welcome and supported. For a hotel called B&B I was very unimpressed with the breakfast, I know it was advertised that it would be packaged items and nothing fresh but in my opinion, you can't call it a B&B just because there are free packaged items for people to choose from in a kitchen. You expect a proper breakfast that's cared for. Do not expect anything from the breakfast nothing was fresh. The other downside was that on a hot day, you are reliant on an air fan as the air conditioning which was ok but I would have preferred an actual air conditioning unit, as during my stay it was around 37/38 degrees and as an Englishman I needed my air con!

The bathroom and the room itself were comfortable and relaxing. The shower was powerful... very powerful.. maybe too powerful... but I didn't mind too much as I like powerful showers. The bed was comfortable the location felt secure and was only a short walk from the centre of town. I arrived by train and it was close for a late-night arrival as much as I didn't like the check-in experience it did make for a quick sleep turnaround time! Despite my comments on the breakfast having a kitchen that all could access was nice as I utilised the microwave for an evening meal and the Tea and Coffee facilities outside of the room were excellent which is almost unheard of in Italy.

Room was relatively narrow, some shower facilities broken, walls are quite thin and noise from other rooms can be heard. I would expect larger room and better facilities for this price range.

The manager was super responsive and the cleaner was helpful. In-house kitchenette was useful for making tea etc. and the location convenient for commuting by train.

Some strange noises in the night. Those from outside could be cut out by closing the window, but others seemed to be coming from the boiler.

The building is kinda spooky ngl but we didn't mind because we were out and about almost the entire day.

We found our bedroom and bathroom very clean. All the essentials we needed were there (coffee maker, tea, biscuits, toilet paper, shampoo ecc) and the wifi was fast imo. We didn't mind the shared kitchen and we liked that there were maps of tourist spots in Trieste available for us to use. Thankful for the electric fan in the room 'cause it was hot. The building isn't hard to find and it's like a 2 minute walk from and to the central train station, so that was a plus. We arrived late but the check in was not a problem. Overall great accommodation.

The shower didnt feel clean at all, there was mold and residue on the showerhead and the drainage was a bit clogged. The breakfast was mostly just prepackaged pastries.

The location was great, close to train station and to rest of the city. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet.
