We had a wonderful two-night stay at B&B The Lux. The location was perfect—just a short and pleasant walk to the city centre, making it easy to explore everything on foot. Our room was very clean, and the air conditioning was an absolute blessing during the August heat. What truly made our stay special, however, was the hospitality. Lorenzo and his parents were incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We also enjoyed the breakfast, which offered a lovely variety of fresh and tasty options. Overall, it was a delightful experience, and we would happily stay here again.

I really enjoyed my stay! The apartment is cozy, clean, and comfortable. Great location — only 12 minutes to the city center, and just about 20 minutes by tram from the airport. A very pleasant place to stay in Florence, I would definitely come back!

We truly enjoyed our stay at this property. From the moment we arrived, everything was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully prepared. Great place to stay, roughly 20 minutes by foot to the touristic area. Room was quiet, very clean, bed very comfortable, air-conditioning worked great, room had a fridge. The owners were amazing, were flexible to let us in late at night, offered great advice. We got a set of towels (great quality), had good coffee :) will surely return!

Very little place for any toiletries in bathroom. Just one shelf would have helped a ton. Not having a luggage rack and very limited drawer space for clothes.

Very clean, modern room. Plenty of outlets, bedside and through the room. Air conditioner worked great. Lift was available for getting luggage up and down.

Although it’s been over half a month since my trip to Florence, I still fondly remember my stay here. The room was cozy and spacious, the host was incredibly helpful, and meeting the host’s elegant mother was a highlight—she even made us coffee! Their warmth and kindness made my time in Florence unforgettable. I hope they can visit China someday. Highly recommend!

You have to make sure you time your shower early enough to get hot water. But it all adds fun to a fantastic weekend.

None to comment but I would have preferred to eat protein for breakfast (two eggs -scrambled or fried) as I always prefer protein for breakfast. Not an issue since I was on vacation but not on a business trip. I was comfortable with the lovely sandwiches and a croissant!

Very clean and comfortable bed, clean sheets, good quality pillows, clean bath room with hot water and large shower. Beautiful interiors, beautiful ceiling with exposed beams, felt like my own living room! Closer proximity to the train station, metro and restaurants. Everything is closer (walkable distance). Lorenzo and his Mom were very helpful, friendly, and always tried to keep us comfortable. They prepared and served breakfast on time, excellent cappuccino caldo was our favorite. Juices, croissants, sandwiches etc for a good breakfast. Love this place.

A bit expensive!

15 minutes walk from the railway station or two tram stops. Generally quiet. Restaurants 5 - 10 minutes away including an excellent Indian!. Hop on - off bus at the same distance. Great to enjoy the breakfast choices on the outside terrace.

There are a LOT of mosquitoes in Firenze this time of year, and we constantly had mosquitoes in our room even though we kept our window closed at all times. There is a limit to what the owner can do about it but I think some additional measures need to be made!

The location is great (10 min walk from the train station) and the room was surprisingly spacious, clean and modern. Lorenzo and his mom are lovely and very attentive. It is quite a small B&B, so you will hear other people early in the morning and some doors closing.

easy to find and good location. 10 minutes walk from the train station. On arrival I was met with Lorenzo's mother who couldn't do enough to make me feel welcome. showed me to the room and made me a coffee. the room was super clean and turned over every day. the room had good WiFi and Aircon. I travel to Florence often for work and will be staying at B&B The Lux in the future.
