Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The landlord is very interested and helpful. The house is in a nice location. Cleanliness and comfort are at a medium level. If I go to Rome again, I will consider staying there.

MaltaBreakfast was poorly. No choice of cereal or cheese for those who do not eat meat. Plaisn croissants should always be available and choice of orange juice besides the nectarine juices provided. Room needs more plugs.
Location is very good and though the AC wasn't strong as blocked by the TV monitor and wardrobe, it helped that there was a fan too.

UkraineClassic bed-and-breakfast. Room only for sleeping. Breakfast very light. Shower-cabin very small. There is no carpet on the floor. In the real life - it's a 3-room apartment that has been rebuilt to the 3 separate rooms with lobby and kitchen.
Clean. All necessary things inside room - hairdryer, TV, fresh towels. Room was with balcony. Bad was comfortable. Polite woman prepared for us breakfast every morning. 15 min from metro-station, 3 min from bus-stop. Lidl in 10 min.

It was clean, the staff was very polite. Location is ok, it's a bit far from the attractions, but very well connected by bus, tram and metro. Acomodation is very basic, as well as the breakfast. Nothing special.

CanadaIt’s quite a long way from the city centre but the price reflected the distance. It was a good price.
The people running the property were extremely helpful. They called me right away after I booked the location. They sent me directions on how to get from the airport to their property. They were in constant contact. When I got a little lost on my way to the property, they had a representative from Booking.com phone me to see how I was doing and asked if I needed any assistance. The attention to helping me find my way was well above and beyond what I have experienced with any hotel/Air B&B/short term rental. The breakfast provided was amazing and very tasty. I would stay her again and would recommend this location to anyone travelling to Rome.

Saint LuciaThe front lock had issues and we were unable to lock it ourselves. The towels are old and hard and rough on the skin. They need to change them. The front of the building had garbage bins and is smelly and unfavorable site. The hot water run out on us. There were amenities such TV, AC, but no remote for them. The shower head had issues, and taking a shower is not conducive.
Breakfast was served in the morning. They allowed us to keep our bags after check-out
