It had character. There was a very spacious deck connected to another deck area, off our room that was so lovely to sit out on after a day of site seeing. Tea and a good book in the sun. Bed was comfy - It was the first real queen/king mattress that wasn’t two twins together. Quiet and a Great location! Alex really knows the area and history and made us feel right at home. Responded quickly to all of our further inquiries.

The roof top patio floor is decrepit, the furniture outside is old and would need to be updated. There should be more done for shade, all afternoon it is unbearably hot.

The location is good, the bed is good, everything you need is there like a hotel, wouldn't call it a real B&B though. Alex who took care of us was amazing and helpful, he went above and beyond.

The noise from the street might disturb a light sleeper (though it is a busy area!). Not a criticism, but any prospective travellers should note that while shampoo/body wash (2-in-1) is provided, there isn’t a hairbrush or toothbrush! Some of the furnishings might want a little upgrade in the future, but otherwise the room is excellent for the price.

Location excellent. Alex is a wonderful host, and very easy to communicate with. Pulley lift a wonderful historic feature of the building. Room (with balcony) was very comfortable, and a very good size! Shower etc very good, and fabulous views. I found the bed very comfortable!

Amazing, the guy who received us made sure we were taken care of and happy. He cleaned our room and put flower petals and a bottle of wine for our honey moon. He also gave us a bunch of nice places to go to and eat at. And spoke perfect English. I strongly recommend.

There is an adjoining private apartment that shares the communal space and a designated private portion of the terrace. It was a bit awkward when we overlapped times on the terrace. probably more for the residents than us, though.

Excellent location! we walked the city, about 5 miles/day. There also is a bus stop around the corner. Shuttle bus (sitbusshuttle.com) stop to/from port or airport is 8 min walk from property. Alex, our host, is exceptional! He provided us with every kind of information we needed, from restaurants, most reputable site to book tours (Viator.com), when to visit certain sites and what’s not worth the time of money, restaurants, even tipping (because we asked if we should tip property hosts like him). He did not steer us wrong once! The unit layout is a bit funky, as it is a conversion of an apartment in a 19th century building. there is a communal area for tea, coffee, eating takeout food. Also a rooftop terrace and we had a tiny balcony to stand and admire the views.

Location is excellent, central and everything is walking distance. Lots of things to do, sites, restaurants, shopping. The host is awesome, extremely helpful in everything and every detail. Very helpful, accommodating. Great view, from the balcony. Nice facility, clean and comfortable, convenient. Excellent stay near everything

amazing location right in the heart of Rome. the room was great with an amazing view from a small balcony. there was also a lovely terrace on the property. the host was fantastic and provided restaurant recommendations ( fantastic!) and airport transfer accommodations. will definitely be back!

I hate to say anything bad as the host was so lovely. My only thing would be the blinds were a little too thin for my liking.

The host was amazing and very accommodating! The location is great and the beds were super comfy.
