The room is comfortable but for light sleepers can be a little noisy because it's got a window opening to the street plus the sounds of doors opening and closing, people walking up and down stairs and creaking floorboards can be quite loud.

A small table and two chairs on the courtyard "terrace" would have been nice, all else was fine.

Location, primarily. Room was very nice. Breakfast is taken at an excellent Pasteleria just across the street. Superfriendly and helpful host. This was our first time in Florence, and due to the hardcore-sightseeing and the cultural overkill you get in this city we could not enjoy the room as much as we should have...

Paid parking on the street (2 euro per hour 8 am until 8 pm), not the street in front of the B&B as it is for residence. Noisy building. Easily hear everything people say outside your room and hear the upstairs neighbour and people walking up and down the stairs. This is fine as in the night everyone is sleeping, so it is quiet enough. If you use the aircon there will be water dripping in the shower, which was annoying at first. But when closing the bathroom door properly it isn't so loud anymore.

Great location. Paid parking nearby, enough spaces. Quiet street. Big room, bathroom good. Aircon good. Nice host.

Our bathroom was a bit small but the other rooms had bigger bathrooms available.

The location was great. Breakfast was convenient and amazing at the Jolly Cafe. Marco was an excellent host!!

Nothing worth specifically complaining about, though the walk home got wearying eventually…

I had wanted to stay in Oltrarno and I’d advise anyone to try it. The experience is very different from the city hotspots only a bridge away. I did wilt under the walk in, eventually (there is a regular bus to the centre and the station), but this was the hellish heat of August, and on the way in you pass a number of funky good value (or indeed a division up) food & drink outlets, the couple of those I tried were excellent. San Frediano at least would be worth stepping across the river for anyway. I’ve been in newer and posher rooms, but it was clean, spacious for the price, the boss man was upbeat (and people say well informed), and I was glad of a/c, fridge, and being able to boil water. If it came up again at a good price against other locations I’d have no hesitation in staying there again.

A lovely little place tucked away on the quieter side of town. Very easy to find and with great hosts who were very helpful. Marco’s parents welcomed us and were more than lovely. A 20 min walk to the centre of town with restaurants and bars along the way. Would strongly recommend for a few days in Florence.

The apartment was in a good location, not far away from the major attractions, but in an area with lots of nice bars and restaurants. The host Marco was fabulous and gave us so many good recommendations.

Wi-Fi could be better.

Great quiet location. Host was really welcoming and helpful. Parking in a nearby garage for a decent price. Breakfast at a nearby cafe that has very tasty pastry and good coffee. Room was nice.

I received a warm welcome from the landlord. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The location is ideal with old city reachable by walking in round 10mn and some some restaurants down the street.

It was a bit cold in November, but we used air conditioner to heat the room, so it was not a problem.

Marco is a great host, very friendly! All-in-all I liked the property. The ceiling was impressing! It is not far away from the city center, 20-30 minutes on foot. There are many good restaurants and cafes in the neighborhood, and there is a supermarket next to the apartment. You can use shared kitchen, there is a fridge and other kitchen equipment you may need. I liked the vibe of the apartment and the neighborhood. Of course, it is a budget room, so don’t expect too much. But the place had everything we needed. If you want to get a more local experience, I can recommend!

The room is a little noisy and oldie. You can hear a lot of noise from the neighbors. If you are picky and fussy, I don't recommend it.

The only down side is we realised afterwards that there was no option to select a particular room. We ended up in a room that included a kitchenette and felt generally that the room could do with a bit of redecorating as it felt quite dated. However it’s great value for money and ultimately you pay for what you get!

The location is great as it’s not too far a walk from the tourist area of Florence (about 20 mins) but is on the doorstep of much more local bars and restaurants which had a great vibe. Marco was also a great host, very welcoming and friendly and full of recommendations for Florence!

The B&B is located in the heart of Florence in a lovely residential area but still close to major attractions like the Duomo and Uffizi Gallery (around 20 min walking). The room was very elegant with beautiful decorations (including an amazing hand-painted ceiling), clean and spacious. Our host Marco was super nice, providing a seamless check-in experience, offering us a map and pointing in them delicious trattorias, osterias and places to visit. Couldn't recommend it more!

A wonderful welcome and lots of useful information provided at check-in. The room was spacious with a table and chairs, a microwave and a fridge-freezer. A lovely little home from home from which to explore Florence.

Was disappointed in the room a little bit, as many of the photos show much nicer rooms. Maybe we just got a bit unlucky? Dont let that put you off. The shower didnt drain properly, but we told Marco and he said he would fix it and was grateful for the feedback.

Location is amazing - don't stay the other side of the river, this side is much more local and quieter. Marco the host is a super-friendly guy and gives lots of tips and advice. Big bed. Some options for cooking with a little kitchen in the room.

The beds could have been firmer. Then again most European beds we have slept on tend to be very soft.

Room was more than adequate. What made the stay extraordinary was the owner, Marco. Friendly and always helpful (aiding with luggage, calling transportation, and translating).

It was very comfortable and private. The people were very friendly and accommodating - our train got delayed 2+ hours and they managed to accommodate us after check-in hours. Super nice.
