We came to Chiavenna and immediately fell in love with this little town and the apartment. The apartment is located in the center of the town, everything is reachable within minutes. Our host Giovanni met us when we arrived and was incredibly kind and helpful. The kitchen was perfectly equipped - we love to cook our own meals - and we even had a washing machine. The apartment was very clean, friendly designed, and quite spacious. One of the highlights is the breakfast which was delivered fresh every morning. We will definitely come back to this place.

Wonderful experience, the host was really nice and helpful ! The whole apartment was equipped with everything you could need and the breakfast in the morning is a really nice touch ! I recommend!

The bed creaked in an unreal way. At the slightest movement it made such a noise that I woke up my partner. otherwise everything was perfect.

The location is very close to everything and Giovanni the owner was incredibly friendly and brought us breakfast every morning. The apartment is perfect for one or two people only but has a lovely balcony and the bed was the most comfortable bed that I have ever experienced outside of my own bedroom. I highly recommend other to book this apartment

Excellent room and host was brilliant. Helped carry my heavy luggage up several flights of stairs. Great location in centre of Chiavenna. Great breakfast with fresh bread and croissants delivered each morning.

Nothing for me but stairs might be a problem if you are less mobile

The location is only 3 minutes on foot from the train/bus station. Even though it is very central, our room was quiet. There is all you need in the room, including a well enough equipped kitchen, so you can cook your own meals if you're so inclined. Fresh bread for breakfast is brought right to your door every morning. The host is very welcoming. Everything was clean and in good working condition. A supermarket is on the way to the station. Various shops can be found right after you step out of the door. Several restaurants nearby. (If you want something basic but good to eat at a good price and maybe a drink to go with it, I recommend Ristorante Caffè Dolzino, just one minute away. Or if you like to try some gin's, ALL RIGHT at the roundabout has a good selection, about 4 minutes on foot.)

It would be nice to have one brighter light in the living room if you want to read at night.

B&B Ploncher is in the perfect spot to explore historic Chiavenna and surrounds. It is only a short walk to the train station. An excellent breakfast was supplied for each day. The room was very clean and had everything we needed, including a washing machine 😊

Everything was perfect. Giovanni was an excellent host, always attentive, available for anything and very friendly and kind. The b&b also has an excellent location, in the center of Chiavenna and near the train station. Breakfast was delicious!. Highly recommended.

I like the location of the property. It is near to the shops and also walking distance to the train station. The apartment is cozy and very quiet. Owner is also very accommodating.

It doesn’t have a lift and air conditioning but it is not actually needed in that place.

It was a beautiful little apartment in the car free historic part of Chiavenna. All the basic ingredients for cooking like olive oil, vinegar, salt etc were already there in high quality. All ingredients for the breakfast were there and fresh croissants and a roll delivered each morning. The interior design was beautiful and living in an historic building that is centuries old was a very special experience. The host was warmhearted and friendly.

Everything. The location, the staff, the size of the apartment. It's clean, with all the utensils you need. Love the town of Chiavenna, so pretty and friendly😊
