The accommodation was excellent. Breakfast was delicious and really rich. The location is beautiful, perfect for relaxing. The room was very well equipped and we felt very comfortable. The owner and staff were wonderful, kind and helpful. We definitely recommend this place and would love to come back.

Antonio was absolutely fantastic! Great breakfast and stunning views. From the cen, it takes about 20 minutes by bus no5 to get there. Last bus at 7:11pm though.

If you don’t have a car, it’s important to check the schedule for the last bus, as the walk to the property involves a steep uphill climb.

Very friendly owner who gave us a warm welcome right away and pointed out local tourist attractions. The rooms were clean, the surroundings beautiful, and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

The room was extra clean, the host was very friendly and kind with us. We had a nice breakfast in the morning. If you plan to hike from here, and would like to sleep in silence, this is the perfect place :) - it is on the top of the mountain, away from the city noise. I totally recommend :)

Our trip was all about experiencing via ferrata, hiking in the mountains, and enjoying some time by Lake Como. We chose B&B Partenza Funivia because of its location — right next to the cable car that leads directly to the via ferrata starting point, and close to several beautiful hiking trails. We were aware that the B&B is not located by the lake itself, which actually suited us perfectly. Since we were traveling by train, we enjoyed walking through the town of Lecco to get to the B\&B — passing charming houses, the Church of Santa Maria, and lovely natural surroundings. We were warmly welcomed by Tonio — our guardian angel during the stay. The rooms were simple, clean, and serviced daily. There was good water pressure in the shower, functional furniture, air conditioning, a hair dryer, wardrobe, and well-planned lighting — everything was thoughtful and tidy. Perfect for hikers and outdoor lovers who spend the day in nature. Plus, a great view of the mountains! On the ground floor of the B&B is a cozy café, popular with mountain sports enthusiasts. Breakfast was simple but tasty — eggs, yogurt, ham, cheese, baguettes, and pastries, along with excellent coffee, personally prepared by Tonio. On the evening before our early departure (6:00 AM), Tonio kindly prepared a breakfast pack for us to take along, and even gave us two bus tickets to help us reach the train station — knowing we might be unsure about the local transport. We were genuinely touched by this thoughtfulness.

Tony is the best host I'm met in years. Excelent service, good breakfast, extra coffee from Tony - it's more than you could expect for the price you pay. On top of that nice hikes around and stunning sunset in the mountains.

Nothing except it you want to be in the centre of Lecco, it was only 10 min away but in a steep, winding road. Nothing to do with the apartment.

So the property was clean, comfortable and in an excellent location for hiking or visiting the mountains. The breakfast was great and Antonio was super helpful. We had a wonderful time.

Excellent location for a short stay. Amazing views whilst Right next to the funicular to piani d’erba, where the views are spectacular. Make sure you have plenty of time to enjoy this experience. Tony is an amazing host - so friendly and willing to help. Great little bar with an outdoor terrace and very good coffee.

The route to the rooms had outdoor furniture beside each door. They provide great outdoor seating but does make it a bit of an obstacle course to get to the room.

Tony was very friendly and helpful. There are no elevators at the BnB and my spouse has knee issues. Tony took our suitcases up to the room for us. That was most appreciated. The location of the BnB is great. It's a bit of a fun drive along a winding road to get there but the views are gorgeous. There is a cable car that goes up to the top of the mountain beside the BnB. Unfortunately, the timing did not work for us or we would have taken the ride up. There's a bar in the BnB which served simple but delicious food that we enjoyed on the terrace which has great views of the surrounding mountains and forests. The breakfast was great with a lovely selection of sweet and savory items. Parking was right outside the BnB and there were lots of space available. It might be different when tourists are up there using the cable car or going for hikes in the area but I think Tony keeps the space by the BnB cordoned off. Overall, we enjoyed the great views and the quietness of the mountainside.
