The reception was not in the accommodation building but in the basement of another hotel, and we had a harder time finding it at first. What was also a bit inconvenient for us was that there wasn’t even a small fridge in the room, so in the intense heat, we had some food that we had to throw away.

The accommodation was always clean and tidy, and we were able to park for free near the property. What we particularly liked was that we could have breakfast at the café below the accommodation, so we didn’t have to go down from the mountain. The receptionists were very helpful.

The room had no fridge at all, not possible to store food anywhere in the room. The only options is to do it is to give it to the barender downstairs. But no ou one speaks english there and also they really dont like when you try to ask something in english and do not bother to hide that. So it was really not pleasent to communicate with them. All communication was via host who was in another building nearby, so any item you need you have to go to that anyther building asking her to call to the bartender and explain what was needed. We planned to rent a car, but all cars was rented, so we used bus to come from/to Como - not very nice exp. Bus is extremely expencive 6 euro one way! Children ticket is free, but no one told us this, we found out this from bus driver on our last day =( Also roads there extremely narrow and driving there would be not nice exp unless if you are adrenalin lover. The only plus of this place was a price with discount, but taking the price of a bus - we are 3 * 6 euro * 2 ways = 36 eur additional cost per day and 1-2 hours lost time for travel - it is not worth it.

Rooms were clean and lady who meet us on arrival was very helpfull and spoke good english. There is a common balkony at the top of property with mountain view.

Great value for money, particularly for Lake Como. Mountain village with picturesque mountain scenery and manager and staff exceptionally friendly, helpful and informative, who were very kind in placing us in a nice quiet room at the rear of the hotel. Coffee in the cafe downstairs was well priced and very convenient.

The fan was not working and we had to keep the window open at night. The room we got was at the last level and faced the main street, which was noisy (although the village is remote from the lake). Motorcycles were particularly bothering. Also, the caffe Michelina downstairs opens at 5.30 a.m. and they start with loading stuff in trucks - so it's also noisy. If you could keep the window closed it would not be as bad - they have windows with pretty good insulation.

The room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was large - half the size of the room :). It had all the amenities expected of a hotel. The reception is at Hotel La Torre - 10 m up the street - where you can also have breakfast for a separate fee. The breakfast was a great experience - quiet, elegant atmosphere, views of the valley and good buffet selection. Staff was welcoming, polite and offered good suggestions on places to eat.

Checkin counter was inside the hotel next door. No kettle in the room. Location may be bit of far but buses are on time. Bus stop just outside ( we actually had no issues on the location).

The rooms were very clean. The small terrace is quite a bonus! Staff were friendly and the bar downstairs had nice coffee.

But in general, the location is not the best. There is no grocery store somewhere nearby. And many places are closed during non-season periods. If you don't have a car it's a problem. Almost 5 km to the Como Lake. I wasn't happy with the buses. And coffee with pastry only for breakfast is a quite poor option for a person who is going to spend the whole day in the mountains :) But again, maybe during the season time, this situation is completely different.

Nice. Very clean. Big bed. Great working hours, about 5 am - 9 pm. Friendly staff. Good location if you're going to hike in the surroundings and only need a shelter for nightfall.

Nice clean and comfortable room. the staff at the café which is on the ground floor is very warm and welcoming please note; there is no lift in the building, and a car is recommended to access the property easily from Lake Como (the closest town on Lake Como is Argegno), which is a 10-12 minute drive from the property. There is a free car park right next to the property in the month of May we were always able to find 2-3 parking spots empty.

I asked for a king size bed when booking, but they lied to me and told me they had put a large bed for me, but it was two beds next to each other. The hotel's location on Booking is different from its actual location and the place where you can receive your room keys and check-in It is different from the room location in another building. You also need to walk a little. I mean, I went to three different buildings to reach my real location, and the names are different.. The room is on the third floor and I had three operations on my leg. It is difficult for me to climb all these floors. There is no elevator, knowing that there are empty rooms on the lower floors, but they were not cooperative at all.

The room wasn't sound proof. the garbage truck arrived at 4 am in the morning and the glass garbage made huge noice for an impropriate time. it disturbed the whole sleep. Also no breakfast included. Trash hours shall be changed and quiet hours shall be respected. Also none to less possibilities to eat something outside the dinning hours. Not much to do inside the town.

The staff was friendly and Washroom was in great condition. Everything was clean. More than one free parking possibilities near the hotel. Next town "Argegno" is nearby. Small Coffee/Drinks/Snacks shop on ground floor with friendly staff.

I can't understand why this place is so popular. But it's not even a hotel. There was no fridge in the room. There was no water heater, etc. And the room we stayed in was hot. We couldn't sleep. Another thing I can't understand is that the place where we check in - out is another hotel 50 metres away. I do not recommend itmm

We drove from Switzerland to Italy, and spent one night in a hotel. Beautiful and spacious rooms, including a huge bathroom. The hotel staff was very helpful and professional, including the most beautiful receptionist in all of northern Italy and southern Switzerland. We will definitely be back in the summer.
