How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewThis B&B is a real gem. Located very close to Alba but far enough to be situated in the middle of the wine fields. The view from this place, especially during sunset, is marvelous. Alberto and his father are incredibly kind and supportive and have put a lot of love in this place, which you can see in the smallest details. Alberto has great knowledge of the area and can provide multiple suggestions of where to go and eat. Every morning a lovely breakfast is served with fresh cakes. You feel really at home at this traditional family house with authentic, very clean rooms. We could easily fit as a couple with a baby. Perfect for multiple days with easy access to the Barolo and Barbaresco regions. Would absolutely love to visit again!

Verified reviewIt really is difficult to find words to describe this B&B. Right from the start till the last minute of our stay everything was just perfect! Alberto is extremely kind and helpful host, he made us feel like home. He served nice and tasty breakfast with some salty and also Italian style sweet things and that was enough to start another day in surroundings. Alberto gave us many hints of places and villages worth visiting. Our room was spacious and absolutely spotless and whole place was just like in the pictures we saw before our stay. Like I mentioned earlier - perfect place to stay and we will definitely stay in this B&B on our next trip to Piedmont!
No complains!

Verified reviewA Dreamed Langa Escape with an Incredible Host at Luna di Langa! Our stay at Luna di Langa was an absolute dream and a true highlight of our visit to the Alba region! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated. The location itself is idyllic – perfectly situated near Alba yet nestled in a wonderfully quiet spot, offering a peaceful retreat. The 360-degree views from the property are simply magnificent, sweeping across rolling vineyards and picturesque small towns perched on the hillsides. It truly felt like a dreamed location. The charm of Luna di Langa extends beyond its stunning setting. Our room was generously spacious, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed – all gadgets were perfectly functional, ensuring a truly comfortable and hassle-free stay. However, the heart and soul of Luna di Langa is undoubtedly Alberto, the host. He was simply incredible! From our first interaction, Alberto exuded warmth, friendliness, and a genuine desire to make our stay perfect. He was consistently supportive and helpful, always ready with a smile, invaluable local advice, or assistance with any request. His willingness to go above and beyond made us feel not just like guests, but like friends being welcomed into a beautiful Italian home. And the breakfast! Each morning was a treat. The spread was delicious, generous, and prepared with evident care, providing the perfect fuel for our days exploring the Langhe. Coffee prepared in moka pot, with a generous choice of home made cakes were glorious! If you are seeking an unforgettable experience in the Alba area, look no further. Luna di Langa offers spacious and pristine accommodation, breathtaking views, a tranquil atmosphere, wonderful breakfasts, and most importantly, a host who will make your visit truly special. We cannot recommend it highly enough and are already longing to return to this piece of paradise!

Verified reviewThe place was lovely - set among the vineyards. The room was spotless and had all we needed. Alberto was amazingly helpful and certainly made our stay memorable with his knowledge and kindness. Some of his recommendations proved to be spot on. Lovely views over the hills from the garden, and we enjoyed breakfast outside. The breakfast itself was great and set us up for the day. We particularly enjoyed a visit to a local vineyard for a very relaxed wine tasting afternoon. This was just a few minutes from the house, and another great recommendation from the host.
Nothing comes to mind. it really was a superb place to stay.

Luna di Langa is ideally situated, offering stunning views of the surrounding hills and vineyards. It's a perfect base for exploring the region's renowned wineries, historic villages, and breathtaking landscapes. Our hosts, Alberto and his family, were exceptional in every way. From the warm welcome upon arrival to the personalized recommendations for dining and sightseeing, their hospitality was unparalleled. Each morning, we were treated to a delicious breakfast. Verified reviewThe property itself is beautifully set on the hilltop overlooking vineyards and Alba off in the distance. The fit and finish of the rooms is quite nice made from beautiful materials and well cared for. The hospitality of the staff makes you feel like you’re staying as a guest in their own home. Just a fantastic place.
There’s nothing that I didn’t like. However, guest should understand that this is a bed-and-breakfast and not a hotel with amenities such as gym or business center, swimming pool, etc. But this suited me just fine as I was on vacation and it had everything I needed.
