Be prepared for quite a number of steps to access the property. Help was available with luggage though.

Beautiful view from our room overlooking the lake. Lovely little balcony perfect for a morning coffee or evening glass of wine. Breakfast on the terrace was lovely. Small buffet choice but with eggs etc. available to order. Very good air-conditioning. Parking available. Peaceful area. Approximately a 25 minute walk into Menaggio.

We had a great stay-the staff could not have been more hospitable and accommodating! The breakfast was amazing-home made breads daily and a huge selection of food. The room was clean and the view was so nice-right on the water! The hot tub was a nice treat after a long day-so relaxing to have the view of the mountains and lake. We highly recommend this property!

Just a bit far from town and the port but the hotel offers tuk tuk rides, there a bus stop right out front and a taxi service

There was a bit of stairs.

The owner, the staff were very welcoming and kind. Very clean and managed well. The room is very comforfable. We felt like it’s a perfect combination of a managed accommodation and homey at the same time. The view is 👌🏻

We were very pleased with our stay at Foresteria Lago di Como. Everything was perfect. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room had a beautiful view from the balcony. We enjoyed sitting there and drinking our wine in the evening. The location was good. There were buses to reach the center of Menaggio, but they were infrequent, so we chose to walk. It took around 20–25 minutes from the hotel. The walk itself was lovely, surrounded by the beautiful and peaceful Menaggio landscape. Wonderful breakfast! They had croissants, toast, fresh fruits, oats, granola, yogurt, and freshly prepared eggs — everything you could ask for! Many thanks to Foresteria for such a wonderful stay

We were greeted by the hosts, shown to our beautiful room and enjoyed a lovely jacuzzi on the terrace. We enjoyed the sunbeds on the terrace, breakfast was wonderful. A lovely stay, definitely recommend this modern hotel.

Chiara was very friendly and even stayed up late to welcome us after a too long car drive. We felt a very warm welcome. Breakfast was superb and the view simply amazing. Anytime again! Thank you so much!

There are 80plus steps up to the hotel ! We did not get any warning about this - when we booked in January the owners had not yet advised Booking.com. (And B.com did not update us before arrival.). We are reasonably fit 78 year olds but as I have back problems it was difficult. Help is available with luggage, but hope they can soon install the lift that is planned!

The room was very spacious and comfortable, and the view over Lake Como was superb. Breakfast was great. The owner and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Parking is good and the road at the front of the hotel is quiet.

Just a caution. There were about 75 steps to our room! Luckily they have a way to deliver luggage to your room! Otherwise the view is well worth the climb!
