How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Wifi a bit slow to connect.
The location was ideal - close enough to the center of town, but far enough away from the crowds (not that anything is very far away in Orvieto). Immaculately clean, spacious, and well furnished - modern, yet comfortable, decor.

I loved my stay in this very cute and spacious room that had a great location right in the center of town, but was quite peaceful. The whole place was spotless. It had a large bathroom and the shower was great. A/C worked well. I really enjoyed the private terrace surrounded by lots of greenery but with a lovely open view where I could spend the hot afternoons reading and watching the birds fly overhead. The bed was so comfortable. I enjoyed the water and cookies in the room, and there is also a shared kitchen with a fridge and the ability to make coffee or tea. Nadia was so friendly and welcoming and helped me lug my heavy suitcase up the 10 steps to the entrance. She also provided a map highlighting the best things to see. Such a lovely and accommodating host, who always responded quickly and sent me helpful messages throughout my stay. It's about a 10-minute walk from the funicular station, but there is a steady incline so it took me twice as long dragging all my heavy luggage. Going down was super easy!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Charming Stay in a Great Location Affittacamere La Piazzetta was exactly what I was hoping for. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the town on foot, and everything I needed was close by. The staff was warm and welcoming, adding a personal touch that made the stay feel even more comfortable. My main criteria were all met: The bed was very comfortable, and I slept well each night. The shower had strong water pressure and consistent hot water—always a plus. The WiFi was reliable and fast, perfect for staying connected or getting a bit of work done. If you're looking for a friendly, well-located place that covers all the essentials, I highly recommend this spot.

Lovely and spotless apartment in the heart of Orvieto. Our host Nadia was incredibly kind and thoughtful. Her warm hospitality really added a personal touch to our stay.

The host Nadia is exceptional. She led me through the property, the sights to see and visit in Orvieto as well as where to eat and what to order. The room is pleasant, clean and well provisioned. The kitchen was well equipped for making coffee and teas.

My stay at Affittacamere La Piazzetta exceeded my expectations in every way - Nadia was an extremely kind host and made me feel at home despite the fact that I was travelling alone. The beds were fabulous, the rooms were very clean, and the kitchen was well-stocked. Amazing experience!

Everything! The location, the bedroom and bathroom were big, spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated! We had a fabulous terrace, which was peaceful and very spacious! There was a kitchen where we could make drinks, store food etc - it had everything we needed. The host was lovely - caring, attentive and very polite. Our stay was perfect and if we visit Orvieto in the future, we would definitely stay here! In our opinion, we would have paid double what we paid for such a great experience, thank you!

The weather was quite hot and only one room of the two-room suite had air conditioning.
Wonderful location in the heart of Orvieto. The property is on quiet side street within a short walk to any part of the town. The property is clean, well kept and comfortable. The host was responsive, friendly and helpful. We would happily stay again.

Having to leave, Nadia was a superb host! She’s a special person. Always looking to making you feel welcome and comfortable.
Clean, tidy, high specifications, quiet, extremely well designed and cared for. Location was excellent, within easy walking distance of all features and excellent restaurants.

There are some stairs to the front door so be aware if that’s an issue for you.
Light, comfortable and welcoming room, centrally located. There’s access to a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. The host was friendly and helpful.

Dragging our bags over the cobblestones was difficult but this was to be expected in a town like this.

We were really please to find Nadia's apartment in Orvieto! Nadia is a wonderful and caring host, we booked last minute and she was able to arrange for us to get in without her being there. The room was large and had a balcony away from the main street. Short walk to main attractions and places to eat. One of our favourite stays!
